About the CD:
The VERY FIRST house CD I ever owned. And essentially the first time I ever listened to PROPER house music. I remember thinking as a 15 year old kid 'This is a bit slow'... but after a few plays I was forever a house head. And with all time classics like MK's 'Always, 24 Hour Experience's 'Together, Happy Clappers 'I Believe', Joey Musaphia's 'Cover Ups Volume One' and the gorgeous 'Total Control ft. Caroldene Black 'You Took My Lovin' who can blame me... Maybe some of you guys remember this CD too, if so... here's to the memories.

Insomniac Event's second big production, following the success of its one-year anniversary party the year before, was an exciting event. Mojo, one of the early Insomniac residents, provides a throwback vinyl mix to give a taste of the sounds one would have heard that evening. One fine day in the middle of May, MTG Primate Crooked Sounds was chilling with a banana, listening to the sounds of the Jungle when the idea hit him! The MTG needs to branch out into some Drum n Bass!! He gobbled the rest of his 'naana, busted out some kick ass dnb, threw it at Bulla's feet and said, "have a go at this!!" Bulla took up the challenge and brought some dirty, low slung vibes to the mix then threw it over to Linda B who chucked in some cheeky dirty sounds. Professor Prim8 heard the call and finished it off with some typical nastiness and thus the mix was born. MTGnB are proud to present our first DnB mix, Drum 'N' Apes! Enjoy!
