Clast's Turn to the Sun is a gritty dance of struggle and hope. Triumphant Beats and emotional melodies move beneath symbolic lyrics.  Live drums, guitars, and strings blend with rich synths, to create tracks ranging from anthemic to ethereal. 'Revelation Bell' and ‘Glass Room’ offer live cellos, flutes, and acoustic guitars building over synthesized downtempo soundscapes. Post-punk basslines drive the sonically charged anthems ‘Turn to the Sun’, ‘A Place to Belong’, and Don’t Break Down’. Clast’s 2nd full length record is rich in the compassion and sincerity which is the true spirit of Clast.

Clast is a duo from Sacramento and Oklahoma City. The music they create is a collaboration grown from a long lost and found friendship, rekindled from across the country. Clast lives in their respective communities serving people and animals, collaborating with a secret society of underground D.I.Y. musicians, artists, and workers. Clast explores themes of loss and purpose, confronting the alienation of living inauthentic lives; only to reemerge with renewed visions of hope. In a world rife with cynicism and mockery, Clast creates a spirit of compassion and love with refreshing sincerity.
