One popular folklore about love and hard work in Jakarta is the story of "Roro Jonggrang." Roro Jonggrang was a beautiful princess who lived in the ancient Kingdom of Prambanan, which was located in present-day Central Java, Indonesia.

According to the legend, Roro Jonggrang was betrothed to a prince named Bandung Bondowoso, who was known for his great wealth and power. However, Roro Jonggrang did not love Bandung Bondowoso and refused to marry him.

To this day, the temple complex of Prambanan is said to be haunted by Roro Jonggrang's spirit, and it is believed that if a couple can make it through the complex without being frightened, their love will be eternal.
