The DJ, producer and SUB.FM radio show host grew up in Weißwasser close to the Czech Republic where he learned his way around the genres besides Drum & Bass like Techno, Goa, Hightech und Dubstep. With his mixing skills he manages to create atmospheric and unique vibes within his sets and for his audience. Carl Alexander Quint has made a name for himself in the electronic music scene and is considered an emerging artist whose sound is shaped by many influences and reflects his passion for bass music in general.

We proudly welcome Sol Pillars for his debut EP on Detached Audio. Sol Pillars has had a wealth of top quality releases on Calibrate, Rubricate, Bay 6 and many more; and now he comes through with 4 unique tracks that showcase the breadth and depth of his production and sound while also being an homage to a special person in his life.

Up first is the title track of the EP, 'Blue Jay'. A serene and tranquil intro lulls us in before we're exposed to glitchy percussion and deep bass, showcasing Sol Pillars' effortless weaving of light and dark. 'Regenerate' follows this with a hypnotising vocal leading us through a more minimal take on Sol's sound.

'Under You' shows a more dancefloor take on the Sol Pillars' sound with gritty basslines and choppy drums twisting and turning throughout the track. The EP concludes with 'The Space Between Us', the most experimental and as the name suggests, spacious track from the project. With this track, Sol Pillars exemplifies each sound to create a spaced out world with just a few elements taking centre stage.

Clauds, in her club & festival sets, explores technical high-energy blends of drum and bass, breakbeats, experimental bass and psychedelic dubstep. Currently in collaboration sharing music with events such as Science Frikshun, Cherch, Bass Safari, Propaganda, Berg in the Burg, Mieliepop, Donny Basco and Friends, to name a few. 

Claudia also facilitates in more intimate spaces where you’d hear the organic sounds of downtempo intertwined with live instruments, voice and shamanic sounds for ecstatic dance and sound journeys. 

In either way, her sets are crafted with intention and shared from a place of pure appreciation and enjoyment and in the same way experienced from that space too.
