Max Q consisted of Michael Hutchence (INXS) (vocals and songwriting) and Ollie Olsen (Whirlywirld) (songwriting and production), who were accompanied by key members of the post-punk scene in Melbourne, Australia; most of whom had previously collaborated with Olsen. The project followed on from Hutchence and Olsen's work on the film, Dogs in Space, where they had first met.

Max Q released its sole self-titled album in 1989 and had minor hits with the songs "Way of the World" and "Sometimes". The album was certified gold in Australia, and was the 93rd highest-selling album of 1989 in Australia. Max Q was less successful in other countries. The album is no longer in print and has never been re-issued. The band never performed any live shows.

The Body Snatchers is a science fiction horror novel by American writer Jack Finney, originally serialized in Collier's magazine in November–December 1954 and published in book form the following year.

The novel describes the town of Mill Valley, in California's Marin County, being invaded by seeds that have drifted to Earth from space. The seeds, grown from plantlike pods, replace sleeping people with perfect physical duplicates with all the same knowledge, memories, scars, etc. but are incapable of human emotion or feeling. The human victims disappear forever.

The duplicates live only five years and cannot sexually reproduce; consequently, if unstopped, they will quickly turn Earth into a dead planet and move on to the next world. One of the duplicate invaders claims this is what humans do – use up resources, wipe out indigenous populations, and destroy ecosystems in the name of survival.

Claudio Malz is an up-and-coming DJ and music producer 
Claudio’s journey into the world of electronic music began in his early years. Born and raised in Argentina, Claudio was exposed to music from a young age. With a natural ear for rhythm and melody, he gravitated towards electronic music during his teenage years, particularly the sounds of house and techno that were shaping the global dance music scene.

Inspired by the groove-driven sounds of tech house and deep house, Claudio began experimenting with production software, learning the intricacies of music production and sound design. His passion for dance music and the energy of the club scene led him to develop a sound that would eventually become synonymous with his name: deep, infectious grooves, and punchy basslines paired with catchy vocal chops and dark, minimalistic elements.
