Claudius was born in Perú and moved to Hamburg when he was 11. After finishing school he decided to study Sound Engineering in Valdivia. Since then he lives and works in Chile.
He recorded his first album in Germany when he was 18. After University he started making musical production in Cuerpos Pintados. Then he created and designed Estudios Triana. He plays bass with Los Ex, multiple instruments with Carolina Nissen and has worked with a lot of important local artists like Chico Trujillo, Inti Illimani histórico, Villa Cariño, Miss Garrison, Leo Quinteros and much more. Since 2007 he is Inti Illimani histórico´s live mixer, touring in Chile and around the world.
Today he releases his second album. He recorded and played all instruments, except cello and trumpet on some tracks. Claudius composes and sings in English. His new production is intimate but exposed at the same time.
