To commemorate the occasion – a celebration of culture, achievements and contributions of Black people in the US and beyond – Crack Magazine will be sharing a selection of mixes curated by Black artists, featuring Black artists. We’ll be highlighting genres that are historically seen – and treated – as white, despite having Black origins.

"I like to float through multiple genres during any given set and find joy moving through different sonic textures while keeping a fluid groove. I let my emotions flow through in sets to open up a conversation with listeners and dancers alike. A humble guide for helping healing bass tones and rejuvenating frequencies pass through speakers... I find myself drawn to the magic that’s released when humans convene together. When it comes to organizing events in Boston, I strive to curate environments where folks can release their inhibitions for true self-expression and encourage celebration of radical love."
