7.	The massive sound of Bach’s Passacaglia for Organ in Cm (BWV 582) served as my inspiration for the first part of Trinity. It is loud and edgy and has a dense texture that is even stressed by my solo on the tenor sax. All of a sudden the tune takes a more happy and final direction in a holy and joyful 9/8 mood. Various soloists play their solo fills over the melody, that slowly fades away. Dick de Graaf
