Max Foley, also known as CLB, is a refreshing face in the world of American bass music. After successfully navigating the breakbeat & house scenes for years, he transitioned to a darker and heavier sound, focusing mainly on drum & bass, grime, and sound system dubstep. In this short time, he’s gained support from legends like Noisia, My Nu Leng, S.P.Y. & Flava D to Boombox Cartel, Zeds Dead & RL Grime. Many large acts look to him as a window into the underground.

Foley’s music is a fresh reference to the many foundational sounds of the UK while blending ambient and experimental influences. His records have been released with labels such as Deadbeats, Viper Recordings, MONTA, Serial Killaz, and OCC Recordings; many of these landing frequent features on BBC Radio 1, SWU.fm, and Rinse FM. His DJ career has taken him domestically and internationally, including Masked Ball in Falmouth, Lakota in Bristol, headlining Respect in Los Angeles, and North Coast Music Festival in his hometown Chicago. His dedication to the foundations of the craft distinguishes him as an artist in the oversaturated American scene.
