8.3.2022 / He appeared on the Czech techno scene in 2007, when he bought his first turntables.  He played at smaller underground events under other pseudonyms in various clubs in the Czech Republic. Nowadays he can be heard as DJ Underholt mostly in Prague's club Jilská 22. 
His style of playing is characterized by a faster tempo, energetic set concept, fast and dynamic mixing, broken beats, industrial sounds. He uses energic tracks with strong rhythmic elements, raw, darker, mostly without melodic component, but with a strong bass line.  DJ Underholt plays mainly vinyl, he uses older tracks from the golden era of techno, mostly from his favourite producers like Rumenige, Boss, Loktibrada, Ruskin, Surgeon, Itoh etc... But he´s also searching for a new quality production released on vinyl. He has been working on his own production, experimenting in combining electronic music with acoustic instruments, but most importantly he is constantly working on his DJ sets, which he is constantly improving and looking for a new possibilities. In the past he has participated in several different music projects, organized DJ workshops, spread awareness of the techno scene, about which he has also written several articles and even a college thesis. He is also a critic of the contemporary form of techno.

8.3.2022 / Na České techno scéně se objevuje v roce 2007, kdy si koupil své první gramofony.  Hrál spíše na menších undergroundových akcích pod jinými pseudonymy v různých clubech  Česka. Dnes ho můžeme slyšet jako DJ Underholt převážně v pražském clubu Jilská 22. 
Jeho styl hraní charakterizuje na dnešní dobu rychlejší tempo, energické pojetí setu, rychlé a dynamické mixování, lomené beaty, industriální zvuky. Používá sypavé tracky s výraznými rytmickými prvky, syrovější, temnější, většinou bez melodické složky, zato se silnou basovou linkou.  Dj Underholt hraje zásadně přes vinyly,  používá starší tracky ze zlaté éry techna, nejčastěji od jeho oblíbených producentů jako je Rumenige, Boss, Loktibrada, Ruskin, Surgeon, Itoh apod.. Vyhledává ale také novou kvalitní produkci vydávanou na vinylech. Věnuje se okrajově vlastní produkci, experimentuje ve spojování elektronické hudby s akustickými nástroji, ale hlavně neustále pracuje na svých djských setech, které neustále zdokonaluje a hledá nové možnosti. V minulosti se účastnil několika různých hudebních projektů, pořádal Dj workshopy, rozšiřoval povědomí o techno scéně, o které taky napsal několik článků a dokonce vysokoškolskou práci. Je také kritik soudobé podoby techna.

In this tenth episode, it is my great pleasure to introduce André (ARG) / @j_andre_m /, a young emerging DJ & producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

André is characterized by his hypnotic sound, although it is usually deep and atmospheric, he never leaves aside the energy and the importance of the body. He has shared the booth with names like Joaquin Ruiz, Mariano DC, Pulso, Alderaan and more. He has also released his sound on labels like West Rules, Aesir, Arido, Dark Forest and more.

André has prepared for us a very delicate and beautiful journey, so I believe you will love it the same much like I did.

1.	What do you think about techno music in future?

“ I think that the movement has been growing a lot in the recent years and this growth is mainly due to the fact that today it is much easier to get our art to any corner of the world.

This is good for emerging artists as it facilitates the sharing of their material. However, this tool which we have today harms us at the same time since many focus only on marketing without the intention of contributing to the culture.

I believe that as artists we must accept that we are on a market and need to know how to position ourselves within, without ceasing to be ourselves or neglect the quality of our art. As consumers, we must be clear that we do not have to get carried away by what we see (reproductions, likes, followers) but by what we listen to. 

After all we are talking about music. ”

2. How do you imagine the future on Earth in general?

“ Ourselves and everything that surrounds us is in constant evolution, good and bad things alike, so it is a bit uncertain to talk about the future. 

But luckily, it is noticeable on a global level that we are increasingly worrying more about the repercussions of the damage we did and we are currently doing to our environment and we are looking for ways to reduce this damage. ”

[R]3volution V|kt|ms is the name of the third Vinyl VA trilogy from [R]3volution Records, after Those Who Dare and [R]3volution H3roes.
In the Vol.1 the label owner Michele Mausi, as well as with his track called Re-Main, hosts 5 great artists of the scene, each of which is characterized by a unique style and touch.
The EP opens with David Meiser, an eclectic Spanish artist who recently appeared on [R]3volution with his remix on the Ritzi Lee release. Another great Spanish artist is Endplate, who also recently appeared on [R]3volution with his remix in the Arnaud Le Texier release, and with countless releases behind him on the top labels of the scene such as Warm-Up, Granulart, Faut Section just to name a few.
Side B opens with Linear System, another solid French-Spanish artist who certainly needs no introduction, with several appearances on our label, and then continues with a duo of as many solid Swedish artists Alexander Johansson & Mattias Fridell, they also already appeared on our label with a remix of a track by Arnaud Le Texier. The EP ends with Jon Hussey, a reference artist of the Irish scene.

Karin é o projeto de Samuel Bastos, nascido e residente da cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Sempre teve interesse por sonoridades intensas, o que o levou diretamente para o mundo do techno industrial assim que começou a frequentar a cena underground de techno em 2018. Sua visão de techno é baseada em suas experiências em diferentes pistas ao longo dos anos, onde reconheceu que existe um grau de sensibilidade e romantismo dentro da intensidade e escuridão características deste subgênero. 

Dentro da discotecagem, conduz a construção de seus sets sempre com baterias explosivas e distorcida, abusando desde elementos atmosféricos sombrios e sons metálicos característicos do techno industrial, aos pads e basslines obscuros influenciados pelo trance e EBM, todos elementos que também inspiram suas produções.
