This is my favorite song from Animal Crossing. And this is the best remix I've heard of it.

Study

I had to compose something for course work that involved sampled media, so I got my trusty hue hue sample and went to town around it. I'm really proud of how this developed, and especially of that solo at the end!

UPDATE: I got 36/40 for it! Gotta say I'm pretty happy with the mark.

Here is an orchestral rendition that I created in Logic Pro X of one of my favourite tracks from the Animal Crossing title for the GameCube. This took me a while to figure out how to present this track in an orchestra format, but I finally got there and this is how it turned out!

Animal Crossing GameCube - 5PM Remix Orchestra

THIS SONG BELONGS TO KORG AND ITS AFFILIATES, YADA YADA. IT IS NOT MINE, I DID NOT COMPOSE OR ARRANGE IT, MERELY RECORDED IT.

I literally couldn't find this anywhere on the Internet, so I had to upload it myself as soon as I had a jack to record with. I don't know what musical genius composed this, but it's the first demo song on the Korg M01D app for 3DS. It does a great job emphasizing the types of compositions the M1 worked best with, and even reminds me of some composers I like, such as Tee Lopes.

Sorry for the bit of white noise bleeding through, I couldn't exactly get a clean recording with a 3DS and a standard headphone jack. Couldn't EQ it out either, it's pretty well mixed in with the other frequencies.

Happy New Year! This is my FamiTracker cover of the famous song "Yume no Tsuzuki" by Mariya Takeuchi off her 1987 album "Request." My first production in 0CC Famitracker, version 0.3.15.3. I used it so I could employ both the N163 and the VRC7. I made my own Sunsoft bass in FM8, then created individual samples for each bass note (no repitching!). As usual, I added some EQ and light stereo effects.

Midsummer Dreams

MIDI by euryoky, arranged to be usable as an in-game song for Mother 3.

As usual with these MIDIs, getting the chord samples to align with the written notation was the most challenging part (but also the most fun), closely followed by trying to limit the number of voices used. I made this a number of weeks ago, but the cap here is....13? SHeeeeeit.

Okay, I just updated it, and now it caps out at 10 provided the release on the Organ is set to default, which it isn't, but I plan on having it be one of the bottom-most channels, so, it's perfectly acceptable.

Update 2: okay so I implemented that and some other things, now it seems to hit 11 at absolute maximum, and that's even with the Organ's release time. Not to mention the actual number of voices is probably less than that, if what MarioSpore told me once about a certain WL4 sequence was true. Don't remember which one, but in FL it capped at like 13 or something, but it worked perfectly fine in-game, so. In other words, this would run with little to no hiccups in actual Mother 3.
