Just smashing some old 90s rave tracks.... I don't play or listen to this stuff... M not ever..... Not since I was 15! Here's are some tracks I remember from back then! ❤️✌️🙏

90s Happy Hardcore & Me; This kind of thing ain't my bag, Baby!

Im Cleggy, from somewhere in the countryside near Nottingham. I'm an amateur DJ who messes around with the decks for the love of the music - Like most people I guess. I bought my first pair of decks aged 16 - an American DJ CD controller (remember CDs??!) before going on to get into vinyl (Soundlab DLP 32s, Gemini PT2000s. Stanton STR8-100s!) I was lucky enough to get to play out once or twice a week in my teens at parties, weddings, birthdays and other events with crowds up to a few hundred people before getting a chance to DJ in a club around the turn of the century!!!  At the end of 2002 I packed in as I lost the love for the music I was playing at the time (House music and Trance) and did't touch a pair of decks again until 2008. Thanks to my brother {{Maesta Dubz}} (who is a DJ and a producer) I found love for UK Garage  and so I started Djing again, initially using software based mixing consoles like DSS DJ, before stepping up and buying a digital DJ controller - Numark Omni Control, a Vestax VCi-300 with a V-FX1 being my first venture in to controllerism - the latter Vestax machine has a very close place in my heart! I bought the VCi-380 and a Numark NS6 but didn't really feel them...

I'm now a shy and retiring bedroom DJ, I've not touched my decks since 2012/13 as personal tragedies lead to me losing all interest in life!  I've just started to get back into the music for real in 2020 and have picked up the controller again coming in to 2021! I'm loving the Pioneer hardware right now - we're talking basic gear like the DDJ 2 channel controllers here - it's just great kit, even the cheaper ones! Im looking forward to investing in better kit as time goes on and improving what I can do! I've started to stream over on Mixcloud.com recently and am really enjoying the music now we're in 2021!

Having listened to some of the mixtapes on Soundcloud I decided I would upload one of my own -  I figured my mixes aren't any worse than some of the stuff I hear on here so why not!!! It's ALL about the music for me, I love the soulful lyrics, the basslines, the 2-step rythmns, the sharpness of a 4x4 rythmn! 

Don't be shy amateur DJs! Get your mix recorded and uploaded....  Get your decks set up and drop a Live stream........ It's ALL about the music!!!
