Pig&Dan are happy to welcome Dutch sensation SQL to ELEVATE with his OBSTACLES Ep.

Renowned for his uplifting and melodic brand of techno, the young producer from Amsterdam has seen his music signed and a released by the likes of Funk D’Void (Outpost), Ramon Tapia (Say What?) and Secret Cinema (Gem). With the ELEVATE bosses already huge fans, the excitement is almost palpable for the release of Obstacles.

The title track is an atmospheric spine-tingler, with its percolating beats and escalating orchestral synth. Blunt Instrument more than lives up to its name, with its guttural throbbing bassline and pounding kickdrum. A straight up dancefloor weapon. The third and final original sees SQL matching warm but strong beats and bass with a chiming and charming xylophone melody.

This tantilising trio are backed by a titanic remix from chart topper Enrico Sangiuliano and Secret Cinema. The pair join forces on Obstacles, reworking the original into a summer festival anthem.

Peter Groskreutz, from the north of Germany produces unique groovy and freaky electronic music that can best be described as a crossbreed between dark-minimal, techno and psychedelic. We are excited to welcome him with his first release at Digital Structures:

Rise again is indeed a groovy and freaky number as Peter signature suggests, and we would add it's joyful and giggly music for fun times on the dance floor.

Vision runs almost a "Cabaret" lead groove right at the introduction, and continues the dance floor fun times with a bit more abstract composition.

“When I write my music, I’m telling a story, my story. It usually starts with a scene, vision, dream, an idea or just a photo I have or had in my mind. From there it goes to the unknown”. That was Yotam Oren’s summary to his creative process.

We want to welcome his project IsoQuant to Digital Structures with Random Walker | Pulses release.

Both tracks are abstract and minimalistic and yet full of emotion, each one with it’s individual approach. Yotam’s signature sound and composition are very clear with both tunes, and it’s not reminding us of anything we previously heard… And that’s in many cases a very good sign.
