Fresh off his latest television campaign with 'EE' - one of his countless sync placements - Recording Artist, Clement Marfo returns with yet another catchy new single 'KOBE' to kick-start the year 2024.

“I stepped into the studio that day on a brief for the Top Boy soundtrack and I freestyled the entire song “Kobe” from top to bottom. It felt like a free-throw, a three pointer or the winning shot before the buzzer. I closed my eyes and I just knew the ball would go in. I oozed with confidence, that anything I attempted would strike gold.”

“As a sports fan, I tend to watch documentaries and read books on elite stars and the night before I recall watching “The Redeem Team” a documentary on the US men’s Olympics basketball team. There was an episode on Kobe Bryant that displayed his relentless drive to win. He was the first person in and the last person out and was determined to do whatever it takes to win. I was inspired as it reminded me of who I truly am. “I shoot my shot! Let me shoot my shot! Got me feeling like Kobe! I think I won the lottery!”

The single is part of the “Créme de la Clem” project being released Q3 '24’ which features a colourful array of genre-defying original music ranging from UK Rap, Classical Trap to Afrobeats. Clement is certainly determined in creating his own lane.

This record will be pushed via social media ads & traditional PR including being serviced to radio with remix treatment.
