The originals of the twelfth EP of the label are provided by a really talented artist from the UK, called His. Creator. The three detailed and well balanced originals, of which ‘Nightshift’ is the title track, are accompanied by a remix of the Hungarian Justrice.

The first track, ‘Nocturnal Eye’, already starts off with a lot of tension and sets the tone. The track has a compelling build-up towards the middle part of the track. Afterwards it slowly comes down without getting boring once, all guided by what we could name a signature piano synth. 

The title track, ‘Nightshift’, will make you fly for sure. The lead will bring you to some higher atmospheres, again guided by this piano synth. The track has an outstanding and surprising arrangement, which is mainly noticeable in the break, from which the lead rises again. 

REM, is probably the most powerful track of the EP with the heaviest lower end of the four. On the lower end a cutting synth is floating, which makes the full composition suitable for the dancefloor.

At Justrice’s interpretation of REM, he managed to bring in a lot of groove with his signature and remarkable percussion. The extended break gives the track some more tension, nevertheless it still stays very suitable for the dancefloor, maybe even more. The remix brings us to the end of a strong and well composed EP.

100! And it seems like yesterday I was wondering what name this series would have ... I decided on "Hypnotic Sessions" simply because its melodies and beats made me mesmerized!

I must greatly thank my 8,300 Soundcloud followers - and now also the Spotify listeners - but most of all I thank Hypnotic Session itself! It was through it that I got these followers, many of whom became my friends ... It was through it that I gained worldwide recognition ... It was through it that I had the opportunity to play at the ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) in 2016. .. Through it also I got a chance to play alongside Hernan Cattaneo on Ressonância Festival and Guy J on D.Edge.

Anyway, the work is long, it was more than 15 years invested in this podcast but they went flying! Because when the work is done with the SOUL and with LOVE, it does not weigh on your back. It flows naturally, just as music flows into our ears and make us, inexplicably, mesmerized. Thank you!

Inspired by the first mixing programs on the Dutch radio, Clement van Dijk started mixing in the early 80’s. Being the music obsessive that he is, it didn’t take him very long to find a local club (Display) to showcase his skills. After doing so for a couple of years the promoters of Arnhems hottest dance club; Luxor, offered him a monthly residency on the Stargate party's. This gave Clay the opportunity to play alongside almost every well-known deejay in Holland, and in countries like, Hungary, Mexico, Germany, England, Greece and others... 

This quietly-spoken DJ from Amsterdam has always understood what made people dance, but never compromised his vision of what good music should be like. By continuously following his favorite waxmasters, like John Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo, he developed his love for progressive house music. And now as a big fan of producers like, Guy J, Alex O'Rion, Marcelo Vasami, Matias Chilano, Matter, GMJ and many more....

His style reaches from proggy house with some of the most beautiful strings and vocals you are likely to hear unto deep and dark progressive. He combines deep house, progressive and melodic techno into a hypnotic and intense DJ set. His specialty is creating an atmosphere wherein the audience will be taken to a different musical level. He will take you on a rare, extraordinary and psychedelic musical trip in to the deep space of the progressive underground.

Every first Friday of the month Clay has his radio show Connecting Souls on Proton Radio. Let this joyful Deejay connect your souls on the dance floor with his magical mix of progressive house, deep house and melodic techno music. Now in these days you can find him as a resident in the best underground club in Amsterdam, The Recycle Lounge Gallery Club, and in the famous hotspot Club NL.
