To say we're delighted to have finally secured the services of our next act, would be something of an understatement. In the 5 years since they joined forces, and countless top ten releases, remixes, a new label, multiple radio shows and DJ sets together, its fair to say they sit astride the global progressive music scene today, and the foreseeable future. We know the 3 years its taken for us to get them here is very much worth it! Ladies and Gents... GMJ/Matter!

Melbourne’s https://soundcloud.com/gmj-fulcrum (Gavin Martin) and https://soundcloud.com/matter (Matty Doyle) joined forces in late 2015, a triggered recognition and magnetism for their shared perspectives and love for deep atmospheric music leading to the formation of the GMJ & Matter collaboration.
Over the next 6 years a natural synergy and seamless understanding has seen works constantly flow with remixes for https://soundcloud.com/pole-folder,  https://soundcloud.com/juandeminicis, Nopi, Donny Car & https://soundcloud.com/zankee-gulati amongst a raft of original works on seminal labels including https://soundcloud.com/balance-series, Jee productions, Proton Music, https://soundcloud.com/themangoalley & https://soundcloud.com/onedotsixtwo.

Studio success has translated into demand from a constantly growing number of respected festivals and clubs both locally and abroad, highlighted by a European Tour in 2019 with gigs for Progressive Astronaut in London and Replug Records 10 year anniversary at ADE in Amsterdam.
Joining forces in 2020 with https://soundcloud.com/morningafteragency saw an acceleration and springboard of growth towards headlining gigs both locally and on a global scale.
The same year set the stage for the conception and constant growth of the pair's https://soundcloud.com/meanwhilerec imprint, which opened to high regard throughout the industry, both as a platform for their own signature sounds, and as a home to some of the world’s finest. With support from heavyweights including https://soundcloud.com/guy-j, https://soundcloud.com/djnickwarren & https://soundcloud.com/hernancattaneo, among others, and with many amazing artists and releases on the horizon, Meanwhile has established itself firmly as a top 10 global label in progressive house.

 And despite being locked down for the best part of this year 2021 has seen the next step in the growth of meanwhile with the conception of their new label 'Meanwhile Horizons'

Meanwhile Textures 008 - Mike Isai

Inspired by the first mixing programs on the Dutch radio, Clement van Dijk started mixing in the early 80’s. Being the music obsessive that he is, it didn’t take him very long to find a local club (Display) to showcase his skills. After doing so for a couple of years the promoters of Arnhems hottest dance club; Luxor, offered him a monthly residency on the Stargate party's. This gave Clay the opportunity to play alongside almost every well-known deejay in Holland, and in countries like, Hungary, Mexico, Germany, England, Greece and others... 

This quietly-spoken DJ from Amsterdam has always understood what made people dance, but never compromised his vision of what good music should be like. By continuously following his favorite waxmasters, like John Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo, he developed his love for progressive house music. And now as a big fan of producers like, Guy J, Alex O'Rion, Marcelo Vasami, Matias Chilano, Matter, GMJ and many more....

His style reaches from proggy house with some of the most beautiful strings and vocals you are likely to hear unto deep and dark progressive. He combines deep house, progressive and melodic techno into a hypnotic and intense DJ set. His specialty is creating an atmosphere wherein the audience will be taken to a different musical level. He will take you on a rare, extraordinary and psychedelic musical trip in to the deep space of the progressive underground.

Every first Friday of the month Clay has his radio show Connecting Souls on Proton Radio. Let this joyful Deejay connect your souls on the dance floor with his magical mix of progressive house, deep house and melodic techno music. Now in these days you can find him as a resident in the best underground club in Amsterdam, The Recycle Lounge Gallery Club, and in the famous hotspot Club NL.
