Weird Sounding Dude is a Bangalore-based music producer/DJ. Drawing his influences from the likes of James Holden, Extrawelt, and Nathan Flake. Weird Sounding Dude's trademark chuggy grooves, squelchy rhythms, and winding melodies are sure to satisfy his listeners but there are always a few surprises along the way.

Life is about evolving and as it happens with a lot of artists, only DJ’ing wasn’t enough for Weird Sounding Dude's musical odyssey, so he embarked on a journey to prove his worth as a self-taught music producer. In a very short span of time, Weird Sounding Dude became a regular on the Beatport charts, and his music went on to gain continuous support from some of the top renowned artists such as Tony McGuinness (from Above & Beyond), Above & Beyond, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Guy J, Nick Muir, Marsh, Armen Miran, Lost Desert, Cid Inc., Roy Rosenfeld, Khen and many more.

Weird Sounding Dude continues to make a mark in the underground circuit by having releases on some of the most prestigious record labels in the dance music industry such as Anjunadeep, Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, Hoomidaas, Souksonic, Kindisch, Everything Will be Okay, Plattenbank, meanwhile, Perspectives Digital, Laika Sounds, Mango Alley, onedotsixtwo, Juicebox Music, Eat My Hat Music, Balkan Connection, 3rd Avenue, Tarnished Tracks, If You Wait Music, Strangers Beats, Strange Town Recordings, Stripped Recordings among many others. Weird Sounding Dude was also nominated for the MyFav Awards for the years 2014-15 and 2015-16. Weird Sounding Dude has always enjoyed a place in the underground dance music culture with performances at music festivals such as Anjunadeep Open Air, Vh1 Supersonic, Sunburn, Satellite Beachside, R.E.S.E.T., La Foresta (Sri Lanka), Voodoos Fest (Sri Lanka), Ctrl Alt Dance, Krank, Locals District, Lost & Found Showcase (Goa, India) and played at some of the most celebrated venues across India. Weird Sounding Dude has had the privilege to share the decks with Ben Bohmer, Cristoph, Jody Wisternoff, Guy J, Yotto, Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger, Cubicolor, Nils Hoffmann, Nox Vahn, Mind Against, Braxton, Khen, Enamour, Jerome Isma-Ae, Stan Kolev, Jimpster, Vaal, Dauwd, BOg, to name a few. 2023, is off to a great start for Weird Sounding Dude as he is all set for his first tour of Australia and New Zealand.

evolution that Gavin would bring his passion for hypnotic soundscapes and deep

In 2007 the GMJ project was born and has since landed on iconic imprints including

Artist Info:
Niki is a Vancouver-based DJ, musician and the host of the monthly podcast series 'Allure' on Frisky Radio. Within a very short time, she has put herself on the map as an up and coming DJ. From raiding her parents’ record collection when she was just a child, to becoming resident at Vancouver’s MIA, Niki has continuously been living with the music in the forefront. Niki conveys her expression of life to listeners and engages crowds through her live sets when she’s behind the decks, and through dozens of podcasts and studio mixes. 
Her sets have been described as musical journeys, charming listeners and at the same time inviting them to dive into their own individual world of sensations. 
 Niki has recently started the Deep House Vancouver channel in hopes of introducing artists, DJs and quality underground house music to its audience from all around the globe.

Inspired by the first mixing programs on the Dutch radio, Clement van Dijk started mixing in the early 80’s. Being the music obsessive that he is, it didn’t take him very long to find a local club (Display) to showcase his skills. After doing so for a couple of years the promoters of Arnhems hottest dance club; Luxor, offered him a monthly residency on the Stargate party's. This gave Clay the opportunity to play alongside almost every well-known deejay in Holland, and in countries like, Hungary, Mexico, Germany, England, Greece and others... 

This quietly-spoken DJ from Amsterdam has always understood what made people dance, but never compromised his vision of what good music should be like. By continuously following his favorite waxmasters, like John Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo, he developed his love for progressive house music. And now as a big fan of producers like, Guy J, Alex O'Rion, Marcelo Vasami, Matias Chilano, Matter, GMJ and many more....

His style reaches from proggy house with some of the most beautiful strings and vocals you are likely to hear unto deep and dark progressive. He combines deep house, progressive and melodic techno into a hypnotic and intense DJ set. His specialty is creating an atmosphere wherein the audience will be taken to a different musical level. He will take you on a rare, extraordinary and psychedelic musical trip in to the deep space of the progressive underground.

Every first Friday of the month Clay has his radio show Connecting Souls on Proton Radio. Let this joyful Deejay connect your souls on the dance floor with his magical mix of progressive house, deep house and melodic techno music. Now in these days you can find him as a resident in the best underground club in Amsterdam, The Recycle Lounge Gallery Club, and in the famous hotspot Club NL.
