O DJ e produtor Ed Lopes aproveitou o momento da pandemia para dedicar mais tempo a um sonho: produzir suas próprias faixas de música eletrônica.
Ed, que é fã de House e Techno há quase 20 anos, passou a investir em cursos de produção musical e discotecagem em 2020, tendo uma evolução meteórica na cena.
Com mais de 20 lançamentos e 1 milhão de plays no Spotify em seus 3 primeiros anos como produtor, principalmente na linha do Melodic Techno e Progressive House, Ed já lançou por labels renomadas como Prisma Techno, Transensations Records e Sonido Profundo, tendo também releases programados com Freegrant Music, Panda Labs e Hiato até o final do ano.
Recentemente, obteve suportes de artistas do Afterlife com o remix que fez de “Como Nossos Pais”, de Elis Regina. Diversos artistas relevantes da cena, como Blancah, Bigfett, Coeus e Mila Journée, vem tocando suas músicas com frequência. Os suportes vêm acontecendo em clubs como D Edge, Warung, Gate22 e Surreal Park, além de festivais e eventos em mais de 10 países.
No campo do audiovisual, Ed já lançou 4 lives, incluindo as gravações de dois shows no estilo Boiler Room (Tanz e Crema Club) e uma lendária produção chamada “Above the Clouds” em local paradisíaco e inédito no estado de São Paulo. Os materiais tiveram excelente feedback da indústria musical e imprensa especializada.
Como DJ, já se apresentou em mais de 10 estados do Brasil, incluindo noites épicas em diversos locais da noite paulistana (incluindo D Edge) e turnês por cidades icônicas do Nordeste como Jericoacoara, Pipa e Carneiros. Para esse ano, já está confirmado no Universo Paralello (UP Club) e no Reveillon Carneiros, dividindo line up com alguns dos maiores nomes da cena eletrônica mundial.
