I was born in Don Benito (Spain) on July 1986. I began my musical studies at the age of 11 at “Banda Municipal de Música de Don Benito” with Prof. Miguel López Bermejo and then at “Conservatorio Municipal de Música de Don Benito” under Prof. Alfonso Ernesto Martín Muñoz.After that, I got a Bachelor degree in tuba at the "Real Conservatorio Superior de Música “Victoria Eugenia” of Granada, Spain (2006-2010) under the professorship of Luis Leandro Hita Urbano, and another Bachelor degree in tuba under the guidance of Hendrik-Jan Renes at the "Royal Conservatorie of Music” of The Hague, The Netherlands(2010-2014). Since then I have been living in Copenhagen (Denmark) where I got a Master’s degree in ´tuba with pedagogy´(2014-2017) under the guidance of Jens Bjørn-Larsen. Recently, I have been accepted in an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma programme at the “Danish National Academy of Music” in Odense, Denmark, undertuba Prof. Carl Boye Hansen.

Throughout my career, I have participated in master classes with international teachers like Vicente López Velasco, Mel Culbertson, Sergio Finca, Sergio Carolino, David Kutz, Perry Hoogendijk, Oren Marshall, József Basinska, Antonio Neilley-Menéndez de Llano, Tonni Hellebek, Fabien Wallerand, Frode Amundsen, Gene Pokorny, Anne Jelle Visser and Carl Boye Hansen. 

I have had the privilege to work with great directors, such as Lucas Vis, Lawrence Foster, Kenneth Montgomery, Rolf Gupta, Jac van Steen, Etienne Siebens, Conrad van Alphen, Reinbert de Leeuw, Enrique Crespo, Toshiyuki Kamioka, Giordano Bellincampi, Miguel Romea Chicote, Michael Schønwandt, René Bjerregaard Nielse, and I have performed in countries like Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Germany, France, Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands and Turkey and recordings for Granada Brass Quintet, Nederlands Student Orkest, Brassi5‟d, among others.

I have performed with orchestras/ensembles like: OJEX (Orquesta Joven de Extremadura), JOCG (Joven Orquesta Ciudad de Granada), RJSO (Rotterdam Youth Symphony Orchestra), RSO (Regionaal Symfonieorest Oss), NSO (Nederlands Studenten Orkest), LKO (Het Leiderdorps Kamerorkest), Brass Band Rijnmond, Codarts Brass Ensemble, Utrechts Studenten Koor en Orkest, Hofstad Youth Orchestra, The Hague Youth Orchestra, L.S.K.O. Collegium Musicum, Sinfonia Rotterdam, Continuo Rotterdam, ASKO Schönberg Ensemble, Hannover Tuba Ensemble, Copenhagen Phil, Det Danske Ungdoms-Harmoniorkester and Lyngby-Taarbæk Harmoniorkester. 

I have been awarded with several prizes next to performing with Banda Municipal de Música de Don Benito, Brassband Rijnmond, or Lyngby-Taarbæk Harmoniorkester, among others. I gave a master class at the "Conservatorio Nacional de Música de México”, Mexico City in March 2017. I have been a substitute teacher at Virtuosi School of Music in The Netherlands and Københavns Kommunes Musikskole in Copenhagen as a tuba professor and, since September 2017, I am the principal brass teacher at Musik for Alle København, AOF Gladsaxe, Østerbro Musikskole and LOF Kurser (Denmark). Also, I have been an assistant teacher to music teachers at Nørre Gymnasium in Copenhagen.
