Spanish producer Benja Molina @benja-molina presents his new EP 'Genesis / Arión', an emotionally rich and futuristic Progressive House work, composed of two original tracks and a remix by acclaimed Russian producer Anton Make. This release reaffirms Univack’s commitment to musical vanguardism, hypnotic grooves, and the sensory exploration of sound.

'Genesis' opens the EP with an epic and immersive approach, blending a distinctive groove with cinematic elements and soundscapes. It’s followed by 'Arión', a solid, dreamlike piece that plays with evocative textures and a powerful structure. Both originals showcase Benja Molina’s unique and personal style, and his ability to craft club music with strong harmonic and emotional content. Finally, Anton Make reinterprets 'Genesis' with his unmistakable touch: deep melodies, progressive development, and subtle elegance that elevate the track to an almost spiritual level.

For our latest story in sound, Russian-born, classically-trained artist KatrinKa returns to her home label Chapter 24 in collaboration with the British producer, DJ, vocalist & multi-instrumentalist Thomas Gandey.

KatrinKa’s emotive, enticing and melodic grooves are a perfect fit for Gandey’s haunting vocals. The Nameless One is a bewitching follow up to 2015’s Beauty, a combination of dark languid rhythms and exotic scales. Meanwhile, How Does It Feel takes things to deeper, more techno-influenced dancefloors.

The EP is completed by a set of powerful Editions by Chapter 24 artists Sezer Uysal and Stas Drive, with label newcomer and up-and-coming star Tim Engelhardt also making a big impression.

Sezer Uysal (Suara, Manual) applies a cosmic and driving touch to The Nameless One, while emphasising the Eastern musicality of the original. Tim Engelhardt (Poker Flat, Cityfox) shares a dirty, groovy and sparkling vision of How Does It Feel, while Ukrainian Stas Drive (Sudbeat, Crosstown Rebels) transforms the track with big, bold synths culminating in dreamy pads.

With music of this calibre, The Nameless One shall not remain unknown for long and marks KatrinKa’s triumphant return.

Growing up in Australia, Tom Watt had love for all things music. Listening mostly to heavy metal and punk rock, he started playing the guitar at the age of 12. After graduating high school he gained is diploma in sound production, but it wasn't until after he moved to Berlin and attended Fusion Festival for the first time in 2014 that he discovered his love for electronic music.With tracks moving between softer Deep House through to emotive Melodic Techno, it is hard to pin his style down to one genre. Taking influence from artists such as Stephan Bodzin, Maceo Plex and Township Rebellion, Tom hopes to create a sound that moves the listener.

Tom Watt is going to spread some of his work with his Ep 'Certainty', including 'Blueberry', 'Briefly swallowed by a whale', 'Certainty' and 'Chaos Arising', four huge tracks full of power and melodic vibes.

“Producing an opening track isn't usually in the creative mindset for me, so It was a challenge I really relished. I wanted to create something that kept the energy going throughout, with a firm focus on the groove. This would set things up nicely for the rest of the mix. Being able to select music from Steyoyoke, Steyoyoke Black and Inner Symphony meant I could move through a broad range of different styles, from deeper stuff right through to Techno. "Stil & Bense are two artists that perfectly complement each other - both originating from two completely different backgrounds but focusing on a wide range from deep techno vibes to housy disco tunes.

Their main track "Pythia" was named after the ancient high priestess "the Oracle of Delphi". So it is no surprise that mystic filtered melodic movements are combined with a yearning siren melody flying above a pushing groove, predicting an uncertain future.

"Say Hi" comes lighter with a hopping xylophone and brass theme. Catchy percussions and a 16th bass line keep the rhythm going and reward the listener with a relieving drop after the break.

A strong marching four to the four beat with a straight bass line give the fundamentals to "Pulsar", the last track of the release. A pulsating modular sound flying over the track and shaking hands with a wide stab synth and easing strings make this one a novel disco house experience!"
