Johan Alström och Frans Björk, från Skåne respektive Norrbotten fattade beslut om att kliva in studion igen - för Gotlands skull.

-Vi vill göra ett sista försök att nå ut med ett bud om att bevara Gotlands natur. En hyllning till allt det fantastiska som finns här, och en förmaning om att inte låta någon förstöra det, säger Johan.

-Det är vansinne att låta en tysk cementkoncern med vinst som enda intresse omintetgöra File Hajdar. De vill inte väl, och de som hävdar annat har fundamentalt fel, säger Frans.

Låten släpps idag för att uppmärksamma de privata sakägare, däribland Karin Mårtensson, som tillsammans med Urbergsgruppen med ordförande Lisa Wanneby och ombud Gunilla Högberg Björck tagit strid mot Heidelberg i domstol och även Urbergsgruppen File Hajdar arbete med att informera, organisera och agera mot den tyska cementkoncernen.

-Den skulle lika gärna kunnat vara aggressiv gabber, men det blev någon slags drömsk och melankolisk elektronisk pop, säger Johan Alström.

Shunus makes his second appearance on WAYU Records with another powerful and consistent musical production. An EP that could not be more suitably named, “Peripheral” demonstrates Shunus’ ability to explore the outer edges of many genres without stepping far from a conceptual proposition. 

In this brand new EP, Shunus successfully incorporated industrial elements into dry and groovy rhythms, maintaining a Melodic Deep Tech sound by adding subtle hi-hats and arpeggios throughout all of the tracks. Not only was he able to bring new fusions into Peripheral EP, but he also introduced his own voice on 2 tracks; demonstrating his versatility.

If that is not enough, Shunus invited two talented artists to be part of this release; Emiliana, a Colombian up-and-coming singer who collaborated in the track “Don’t Forget to Dream”, and Urmet K, a producer based in London, who delivered a fresh perspective on the track “Vibrations”.

Growing up in Australia, Tom Watt had love for all things music. Listening mostly to heavy metal and punk rock, he started playing the guitar at the age of 12. After graduating high school he gained is diploma in sound production, but it wasn't until after he moved to Berlin and attended Fusion Festival for the first time in 2014 that he discovered his love for electronic music.With tracks moving between softer Deep House through to emotive Melodic Techno, it is hard to pin his style down to one genre. Taking influence from artists such as Stephan Bodzin, Maceo Plex and Township Rebellion, Tom hopes to create a sound that moves the listener.

Tom Watt is going to spread some of his work with his Ep 'Certainty', including 'Blueberry', 'Briefly swallowed by a whale', 'Certainty' and 'Chaos Arising', four huge tracks full of power and melodic vibes.
