Info: 🇺🇸ENG: We present to your attention  the 58th release from Bassmatic Records! Its participant was a debutant on our label, a producer straight from Kazakhstan: Godunov! When creating this EP, the founders of the label took part: Nobe, WilyamDeLove, giving it the color of the signature sound! Emerald is considered a rare and valuable gem, the title track “Valkiria” breathes the same feeling, a gem in its layered and blissful texture, throughout the piece you are immersed in a unique dance atmosphere as the arrangement shimmers between a spectrum of organic and euphoric elements. The 2nd work was a track called "Gefest" It is filled with a powerful bass line with a melodic slant, including driving arpeggios, which ties it all together with a rhythmic percussion work.

Renowned Colombian producer Kamilo Sanclemente @kamilosanclemente , a key figure in contemporary Progressive House, presents “Astronauts Nightmares / Destination (Remixes)” on Univack — a powerful release featuring three unique reinterpretations of his original tracks. Three distinct sonic visions reimagine Kamilo’s cosmic and melodic landscapes from complementary and personal perspectives.

Veteran Maltese artist DJ Ruby @djruby takes “Astronauts Nightmares” into an acid-driven, epic terrain — perfect for peak-time moments on the dancefloor. Argentine producer Nicolas Viana @nicolasvianadj offers a different reading, where dreamy textures and rich harmonies intertwine with organic groove and elegance. Finally, Kebin van Reeken @kebinvanreeken-1 transforms “Destination” with a progressive and hypnotic rework, marked by refined sound design and sonic depth.

For our 3rd release, we welcome on board Mr. Alexey Union. After many successful releases on the likes of Henz Music, Highway Records, Deer Dear we are thrilled to have his work on our label.

The son of Saint Petersburg takes us into the world of soft deep house. Following Fairtone, we are more than happy to release this pack from another super talented Russian producer.

The two originals follow the currently popular, epic deep house sound. Both tracks fit perfectly into the atmosphere of daytime outdoor parties. Highly recommended for sunset sets but works great in warmups too. Very detailed elaboration and a great variety of instruments are the traits of these tracks. Fans of „spiritual house” are likely to fall in love with the sound.

The debut release of the label boss is a remix. The classic, quality deep house sound that the solo Peter Makto project is known for, got a stronger groove. Peter only used a few elements of the original, the remix is basically a brand new track. It is a DJ friendly peak time tune, that is sure to make the crowd go wild. You are very likely to hear this track in many sets throughout the summer.

Alexey Union - Dream Of You (Peter Makto Remix)

Movement Recordings continues a strong start to the year by welcoming Gabriel Amato to the label for his debut EP. Rising out of Argentina's electronic music underground, the Buenos Aires resident has found a home on 3rd Avenue, Balkan Connection South America, Clinique Recordings and onedotsixtwo. Now just two years into his production journey, Gabriel steps up to Movement Recordings with 'Astral' alongside a remix from Kenan Savrun. 

Spread across three tracks it's the progressive techno moods of 'Voices' which get the EP underway. Dark and hypnotic from the outset it's punchy low end and crunchy rhythms provide momentous drive, while astral effects and haunting chimes fill in the framework. Stripping down into the main break, the narrative expands as indistinct vocals add a dramatic flair, eventually getting washed away into a swirling reservoir, before effortlessly shifting energy into a haunting finale act.

The second and also title selection 'Astral' follows a similar sonic ethos with a further lean into techno inspired territory. Beginning with a rippling groove the piece moves with discernible momentum as layers of percussion and buzzing synths converge for an effervescent core. A spacey lead motif shifts the narrative further into cosmic territory as waves of effects continue to saturate your senses. Trance inducing yet tense, it's a kaleidoscope of cosmic colours that flow beautifully through the heart of the piece, effortlessly shifting energy into an exhilarating third act.

The third and final original 'Anthrax' follows suit with a heady, percussive vibe for the more astute connoisseur. Beginning with tight beats and exotic drums it's rhythmic appeal quickly captures your imagination. Waves of clustered percussion and haunting tones descend over the framework, as a wavering backdrop continues to build tension. Oriental instrumentation carries into main break, bending the narrative into emotive territory and ultimately sealing the track's unique appeal.

'Tash’s Movement Recordings celebrates their 200th release by welcoming Rafa’EL back to the label for a new EP. The Polish artist first appeared on the Greek imprint in September of 2016 with the ‘Fields of Hope’ EP. Written in conjunction with Northern Lights boss K Nass, it made for a stellar label debut. Also owning releases on Balkan Connection, Beatfreak, ICONYC, Soundteller and Stellar Fountain, Rafa’EL now lands back on Movement with ‘Misconception’ alongside remixes from Paul Angelo & Don Argento and Sean & Dee.
Beginning with the title track Rafa’EL explores the deeper spectrum of progressive minded house. Its warm, spacious groove is perfectly contoured, adorned with tasteful arps, finely tuned percussion and timely effects. Stripping down into the main break, icy overlays heighten anticipation before a cavernous reservoir adds just the right amount of tension as a smooth finale ensues. The companion piece ‘All I Could Think’ continues the deep yet trippy ethos set by its predecessor. Mysterious and mystical from the outset, the piece flows through astral designs, melodic fragments and gaseous atmospheres across the first act. The narrative shifts into more emotive territory moving into the break, with a gorgeous tonal theme taking centrestage, before effortlessly shifting energy into a glowing final act. 
The first interpretation of ‘Misconception’ is provided by Movement artists Paul Angelo & Don Argento. Hailing from Cyprus, the much-loved duo has become a core part of the Greek imprint since making their debut in 2017 with a contribution to the label’s ‘Technical Progress’ Vol. 7 collection. Paul and Don have since gone on to appear an additional six times while also finding a home on Beat Boutique, Dopamine Music, Sound Avenue and Soundteller Records. Now following their well received ‘Dear Cave’ EP, the duo lands back on Movement with a stunning remix of ‘Misconception’. Dark and driving, the groove commands a large presence as electric rhythms and astral artifacts adorn the framework. Evolving with a veteran’s savvy, timely drops and percussive flurries provide dynamic moments leading into the second act. Icy drifts highlight the main break, delivering palpable tension before melting down to a wonky fill and ultimately a powerful drop.
The second and final interpretation of ‘Misconception’ is provided by Sean & Dee who return to the label for their third appearance. The Italian duo first appeared on the Greek imprint in January of 2019 with a remix of ‘Resurrection’ by V-Cious and Trapped In Time before kicking off 2020 with their highly touted ‘Phoenix’ EP. Also laying claim to releases on BeatFreak Recordings, ICONYC, Outta Limits and UV, Sean & Dee now land back on Movement with a powerful rendition of ‘Misconception’. Remarkably fluid and undeniably modern, it’s a mix that stays true to the delicate themes from the original, while adding an underlying tension through crisp design and electric rhythms. Airy atmospheres rise as the first act strips down into the centrepiece, perfectly setting up an emotive interlude and dramatic bridge into an exhilarating conclusion.  A powerful remix from Sean & Dee, rounding out what is a monumental 200th release for Movement Recordings. '
