Founded in 2020 Future Avenue is an electronic music imprint which operates under the Sound Avenue umbrella. Sitting alongside fellow subdivisions 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds, Future Avenue looks to provide a home for new and rising talent. With an ethos centred around progressive music and its surrounding derivatives, the label is a platform which gives up and coming artists a chance to showcase their music alongside established veterans as they carve out their own musical identity.

Alexander has been taken his first steps as a producer in 2009. Together with his mate he was celebrating first successes as „Mode B“ as well as of the imprint 'Ideological Records' which he’s running with Indieveed and Makson.

Beside divers Collaborations Alexander felt in 2013 that time has come to start something on his own, something which outputs his expeditions on the dark in sense of unknown sides of his moon. The tender chosen artist name Mondkrater reflects perfectly the very special way of Alexanders music: soul-floated melodic electronic dance music

The depth of his sounds, the mood of composition, the driving but melodic atmosphere with its special bluesy moments and lately the variety as well as the quality of Mondkraters music already has been discovered by divers well-known underground institutions like Proton Music, Ryan Davis’ Klangwelt, Strom:Kraft Radio and Traumwelten Records. The increasing support by artists like Dominik Eulberg, Stephan Bodzin and Microtrauma shows him that he’s on the right way walking over the moon.

We present you Monkrater's debut on our label. And we can say this is a stunning debut. Easily these tracks are on the top of what we released so far. This EP also comes with a remix EP that will be released a bit later.

Berlin act GHEIST have made a huge impression since releasing their debut record on Exploited in 2016. Now with regular appearances at Watergate and various summer festival gigs under their belts, three releases on Exploited and a couple with Sasha’s Last Night On Earth as well as a collaboration with HOSH ('The Watergate Affairs'), they are poised as one of the most promising acts of the current wave. This mesmerising new three-track EP only serves to strengthen their claim. 

'Axelot' begins by way of thuddy kicks knocking against the slightest of bleeps and gently techy percussion, with a slow-rising, muffled synth arpeggio teasing its way into life as the claps join in. Over the course of nine hypnotic minutes, we ebb and flow with the tracks subtle intricacies, a dramatic mood gently building. A mind-bending arp blurs the focus in the breakdown before we charge headlong back into the throbbing depths of the track.

'Kolibri' builds in similarly unhurried fashion, with bolder melodic focus that yields graceful strings, emotive chord patterns and some sublime delayed plucked refrains that take the essence of trancey emotion and boil it down to a sophisticated reduction. Just as the swells threaten to take the track into a frenzied crescendo, things are pulled back to keep the tension intact. Classy stuff. 

'Time' completes this sublime package by way of swirling chimes, throbbing monotone bass and analog bleeps, building up a heady wall of sound before a trademark GHEIST vocal lifts the track into unchartered territory. The sombre tone recalls Depeche Mode, and the idea to use the vocal in the breakdown alone only gives it more impact. It’s also a reminder that this trio bring an element of live electronica and instrumentation to their studio sessions.

Like a trip through the universe - “Vona 1.2“ creates different pictures rushing by. Get on the dancefloor with “Filamenta“ and breath deeply while listening to “5254“. The whole longplayer is like an emotional carrousel. From silky smooth beats to bass-loated tracks and foreign noises. “I Am Bient“ comes so dark and cold - you are paralysed, just to get back moving and dreaming the next moment.
