Mycelium closes out a strong summer season by welcoming Paul Lennar and Favio Cavoni to the label for their debut single. Hailing from Colombia, Paul Lennar has been a recognized figure in his country's electronic music culture for well over a decade. With a discography that features releases via Movement Recordings, Perfecto, UV and more, the Bogota resident often finds a great balance between progressive, melodic and organic house; a sound that has seen him earn the praise of world class DJs such as Hernan Cattaneo. Meanwhile, also hailing from Colombia is Favio Cavoni who began his career as a DJ, incorporating elements of Techno and Progressive House in sets for a sound that could be described as nostalgic, romantic and euphoric. As a producer, Favio is at the beginning of his journey with three releases via Avenir Musique and Business Class Records across 2021 and 2022. Now, joining forces for the first time, Paul and Favio debut on Mycelium with 'Aira', alongside remixes from Tomas Sanchez and ID Project. The release commences with the original mix, which finds Paul and Favio layering metallic fragments and gritting percussion over pulsating grooves and punchy kick drums. A smooth energy carries into the break where the duo bring a great emotional response, as cinematic pads, orbiting effects and astral sonics unite in an exhilarating crescendo, which ultimately cues a cosmic finale. Returning to the label with the first remix of 'Aira' is Mycelium boss Tomas Sanchez. Hailing from Colombia, Tomas Sanchez is a DJ and electronic music producer who has established himself as a benchmark on the Medellín scene. Arawak Records, ContraPaso, Hexagonal Music and more have been home to his cutting edge style, a sound in which he always seems to find a great club sensibility with. His music has achieved great acceptance on the dance floor due to his ability to fuse different genres and create a unique sound. Tomas has shared the booth with great artists such as Matador, Pan Pot, NTO, Hosh, Nastia, among many others, demonstrating his ability to connect with the public through an exquisite musical selection. Having delivered the inaugural release on the label alongside fellow Mycelium boss PIMI, Tonas now returns in solo capacity with a spirited take on 'Aira'. Staying true to the vibe of the original but with an old school edge, the Colombian's electric grooves, spiralling arps and phasing sonics captivate across the first act. Unique and uplifting, the main break is sure to capture the dancefloor's full attention, as striking chord stabs steal the air and rising modulation eventually gives way for a finale of astral designs and thumping grooves. The release concludes with ID Project making his label debut with the second and final interpretation of 'Aira'. With a career that spans just over three years, Colombian artist ID Project has found a place in the trend driven state of electronic music. Armed with a melodic sound that incorporates both digital and analog elements, ID Project has compiled a short but noteworthy discography, highlighted by releases via Duenia, ILINX and Polyptych Noir. Continuing on an upwards trajectory, the Medellin resident now adds Mycelium to his discography with a stunning interpretation of 'Aira'. Beginning with a tight kick and galloping grooves, the Colombian artist channels the electric energy of the original through billowing stabs and tension filled tones, before a break of dissonant synth blasts and crunchy melodica setup a thrilling peak time finale. Clubsonica Records opens the fall season by unveiling the fourth edition of their Sampler Series. Following its debut in 2021, Clubsonica's Various Artists Sampler Series is now a regular and much anticipated offering in the label's catalog, fitting nicely alongside the MMW and ADE showcases which operate under a similar ethos. The trending series has been a platform not only for a wide assortment of upcoming talent, but also some of progressive music's most notable names in Golan Zocher & Greenage, Kamilo Sanclemente, Ric Niels and more. Now embarking on the fourth edition, Clubsonica boss Juan Pablo Torrez has compiled the series' most comprehensive volume to date, featuring new music from (in order of appearance): Cybek, Electric Dada, KAZKO, Mauricio Brigante, Ruben Karapetyan and Solis (US). 

Making his label debut with selection one is Cybek. With a fresh approach to the melodic house genre, Cybek would enjoy a quick ascent, signing projects to Solee's Future Romance and Berlin based imprint IAMHER across the next calendar year. Now, continuing on an upwards trajectory, Cybek makes his Clubsonica debut with the astral sounds of ‘Eternal'. 

The second selection welcomes Electric Dada to the label with ‘Branium'. The duo's progressive style was immediately recognized for its emotive qualities and strong dancefloor sensibility. With a recently released collaboration with roku's Da Luka, Electric Dada now make their Clubsonica debut with the smooth uplifting sounds of ‘Branium'. 

Moving forward to selection three is KAZKO who returns with his latest studio creation ‘Back to Paradise'.. 2023 has proved to be a breakout year for KAZKO, adding projects for Freegrant Music, onedotsixtwo, Songuara and Nick Warren's The Soundgarden to his resume. Now, looking to build on the success of his label debut ‘Sun Dance', KAZKO returns to Clubsonica with the organic vibes of ‘Back to Paradise'. 

The collection's fourth selection is provided by Mauricio Brigante who makes his label debut with ‘Nma'. With a sound that often finds the creative space between progressive and tech house, Colombian artist Mauricio Brigante has found a home on BOOTH, Serrano's Kitchen and Exx Boundless, while electronic music tastemakers Claptone and Oxia have praised his work. Now, looking to explore a deeper side of his studio repertoire, Mauricio makes his Clubsonica debut with the soulful sounds of ‘Nma'. 

Selection five finds Ruben Karapetyan returning to the label for his first original offering ‘Hyperphantasia'. His emotive synth leads, cross-cultural motifs and tough, dancefloor minded grooves have made for a resonant worldly sound that is all his own. On the strength of this fresh approach, Ruben has earned praise from trendsetters such as Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while showcasing his music on the genre's premiere imprints in Meanwhile, Mango Alley, Movement and The Soundgarden. Having made his Clubsonica debut with a well-received remix of ‘Kamikaze' by K Loveski and Geronimo Eguiguren, Ruben now lands back on the label with the deep and enchanting vibes of ‘Hyperphantasia'. 

The release concludes with Solis (US) making his label debut with ‘Accelerator'. David's unique amalgamation of sound would earn him fans across all those genre spectrums, while landing key releases via Camel VIP and Tibetania Records. Now embarking on the most anticipated project of his young career, Solis debuts on Clubsonica with the darker monochromes of ‘Accelerator'. Tastefully nostalgic, it rounds out a must have fourth edition of Clubsonica's Sampler Series, one where an array of talented artists showcases their best in organic, progressive and melodic house trends.
