Max Joni’s and Dayne S‘ track “A Friend” reflects the magic of friendship. How hard it can be, when another person can look inside your soul! How desire and hope can develop between people. The two artists focused on poppy Vocals with lots of compression mixed with deep mellow bass-lines. It's a beautiful melodic statement of House and Electro Pop, which is deepened by rhythmic chimes. The little extra variation brings the Soft Edit of the original track.

And due to the fact that we’re not satisfied with only two versions Daniele Di Martino has conjured a great Indie Dance remix, Ante Perry surprises with a charming Deep House Remix and K-Paul sums it up again with the great treasure of a Tech House remix. June 13th 2016 sees Riva Starr’s illustrious Snatch! Records deliver the next instalment within their new compilation series entitled ‘In Dubb Vol.2’, ahead of their forthcoming label showcase during Barcelona’s prestigious ‘Off Week’. 

All productions from this impressive 11-track offering have been especially handpicked by Snatch! Records’ main man Riva Starr to showcase the label’s dubbier side and provide a taster of what people can expect to hear at their highly anticipated ‘Off Week’ event, where Starr will headline alongside some of the imprint’s finest talents (Santos B2B Haiku575, Paul C & Paolo Martini, Pele & Shawnecy, Paride Saraceni B2B Astin, Ruben Mandolini B2B Ki Creighton and Upercent) at Barcelona’s intimate Macarena venue on June 15th.

Alexkid’s remix of Riva Starr’s ‘DubLife’ kicks proceedings off in suitable fashion, delivering a deep soul-infused House number that leads perfectly on to Dennis Cruz’s groove-driven ‘Orisha’, similarly offering a cool and collected rhythm at its core. Other highlights include Metodi Hristov’s slammin’ Tech House roller ‘Kattegat’, Ruben Mandolini’s twitchy House workout ‘Broken Down’ which boasts a very seductive Nina-Simone-esque vocal, the disco-tinged ‘Night Shift’ by Clio & Yvan Genkins and the brilliant hypnotic closing number from Markantonio named ‘Arp’.

Phonique (@phonique) lands back in the sweet spot with a series of remixes of one of the standout tracks on his 'Green Supreme' album. 'Something Special' - featuring the vocal talents of Ian Whitelaw, was always ripe for reworks - and this package doesn’t disappoint. 

Opening with Phonique’s own club mix, the track is tweaked into a dancefloor bomb - exhibiting all the light and shade he has always been a master of. The mix is both epic and emotional, and will be doing some serious damage over the coming months.

Munich based DJ/Producer and label owner Nhan Solo (@nhan-solo) drops a tougher mix - bringing a rough, Chicago - influenced edge to the rhythms and still giving the track plenty of space for Whitelaw’s vocals.

The Black 80s (@theblack80s) remix flips the script totally and brings out the synth pop roots of the track, marrying Whitelaws’ soulful vocals with a bubbling, summer vibe.

Sam Shure (@samshure) - a regular at Berlin underground spaces such as Sisyphos and Salon zur wilde Renate, releasing on Katermukke - brings his own distinct flavor to his mix- supplying it with plenty of tech house magic to work on every dancefloor.

In February 2017 house music veteran Phonique dropped 'Green Supreme' on his own Ladies and Gentlemen imprint, his fourth studio album which was a collection of 11 exquisitely produced tracks. Since then, there's been a steady stream of killer remixes that have taken the source material in different directions, and now with Green Supreme Remixed, these are gathered together into one package with a handful of new exclusive remixes.

These fresh versions include Tapesh’s rework of 'Reality Check feat. Eddie Fowlkes' - a bumping, groovy and hypnotic take which emphasizes the tracks dominance over the dancefloor. 'Vincent Price feat. LazarusMan' arrives with a Phonique and Malive remix - a stripped down house burner with a killer descending bassline, new-wavey pads and precise drums, accompanying LaruzusMan’s sparse vocals.

Other exclusives include Douglas Greed’s remix of the 'The Price' - a much spacier approach with a shuffling groove and sparkling melodies from the Freude Am Tanzen regular. Elsewhere, one of Green Supreme’s biggest tracks - 'Something To Remember feat. Stee Downes' gets an amazing re-fix by Urmet K - a melancholic slice of tech house with soulful vocals primed for making moments of dancefloors for months to come.

This exclusive joins 4 other versions of 'Something to Remember', including stunning mixes by the likes of Argy, Nvvb, Claus Casper & Jean Philips, and The Unhottest.

'Something Special' - featuring the vocal talents of Ian Whitelaw, was always ripe for reworks - and three bomb-grade versions are featured here. Joining Phonique’s own club mix, Nhan Solo drops a tough Chicago influenced vibe, while The Black 80s flip the script totally to highlight the synth pop roots of the track. Likewise, Sam Shure supplies plenty of tech house magic to keep every floor happy.

Wrapping up this stellar compilation, three mixes of 'Grass is Greener featuring Antonia Vai' also bring the heat - the club mix is joined by refixes by Larse and Kruse & Nürnberg.
