Freedom Disappeared

From the southern of the Andean mountains in Ecuador, comes to Duro, Pancho Piedra with 'Chico Sol'. A reverie, tight and deep EP of three original tracks, accompanied by a mind-blowing remix by New Zealander, Eden Burns.

The EP kicks off with "Canal 3", a thick mix with deep house influences, solid and pleasant sounds. The result of a full body psilocybinic massage and a blender of sounds... we know you've heard the voices too. It's followed by "Chico Sol'' a shower of melting and stunning bamboo, playful percussions, liquefying synths and heartbreaking acid sounds.

An electronic bass and a clap welcome you to the last original cut, "Uno Mismo". A trip along with a swinging synth and percussions shimmering like beautifully distorted diamonds. Finally comes Eden Burns with his version of "Chico Sol", a solid, hallucinating, powerful and percussive cut. A rhythmic and psychedelic expedition, synthesizers that hit you like the rays of the sun rising at dawn in the club.

Eleonora began with music in the age of five having piano lessons in a small classical music school in Russia. In the age of 15, she came down with double leukemia, for which reason she had to move to Berlin for the last hope to survive. Under the sad circumstances, however, she realized her only goal: Music is life and faith is obligatory. After a successful cure, she immediately moved forward to catch her dreams. Beside several jazz projects, Eleonora mainly found herself in trip hop and experimental indie-electro music. Her courage to play with sound and her own vocals makes her music extraordinary and positively surprising for every ear.
With You Here Is a set of emotions that will accompany us on a path made of harmonic lines, guitars, and a vocal that also illuminates our darker corner. To close this original track already perfect to him, Javier Orduna, Andrea Crestani and Vlad Jet think.
We never tried to find something that liked to the dancefloor but we always tried to find something that touched our heart...

Chi Thanh has been active in the international club and dance music scene for a while (Top10 best-selling Beatport Deep House artist 2014) and has performed alongside artists such as: Booka Shade, Tale Of Us, Radioslave, Butch, Florian Kruse etc…

He just released his single “XIN CHAO” on the label “Blaufield Music” of the electronic music legends Booka Shade and his music has been played regularly on BBC Radio 1 UK by Pete Tong and Kolsch.

Moreover, Chi Thanh has remixed international artists such as: Booka Shade, Lana Del Rey, The Do, Metronomy, The Disciples, 2Raumwohnung, Robot Koch… and his work has been featured on blogs such as: Deep House Amsterdam, Clash Mag, Pulse, DJ Times, Data Transmission, Resident Advisor…
Chi Thanh also recently had a Beatport Club Hit (“Reach - Fluid EP”) with his collaboration with Robot Koch (Monkeytown Berlin-Moderat) on the acclaimed label DIYnamic Music (Solomun).

With his new single “K.O.K.O” (Keep On Keepin’ On), Chi Thanh is mixing up different worlds & styles yet again:
Hip-Hop breakbeats meet weird arpeggio synths in the intro before the song starts thumping with a straight techy groove accentuated with some live-drum snare fills. The breakdown encaptures warm moody piano chords with rising synths, while a mysterious vocal keeps building and chanting: “K.O.K.O.”
After the vocal peak the song keeps going with trippy glide bass synths and has some tricky “fullstop - break & interruptions” to keep the dancers on their toes.

The vocal chant “Keep On Keepin’ On” is a mantra and reminder  for every artist and/or person for that matter to “not give up and to keep on pushin’ for the better”.

In the summer of 2019, German musician @aparde released "Hands Rest", an album that ingeniously navigated the tenuous line between electronic music and avant-garde pop, to great acclaim. While capturing the thumping essence of Berlin’s club scene, in which Aparde is immersed, ‘Hands Rest’ also took listeners to the depths of the musician himself, far from clubs and live sets, to a world that is both intimate and profound. Hungarian label Secret Fusion continue a fine start in 2020 with a new EP from the under the radar, but highly accomplished 88Dubs, while Echonomist, SouveQ and Alexandros Djkevingr & Greg Ignatovich all serve up remixes. Attila Bujdoso aka 88Dubs has been making music for more than a decade and counts Fideles, Undercatt and Øostil as big fans. After being the first Hungarian artist on German label Steyoyoke, he went on to release on Traum Schallplatten and Beatfreak Recordings and in 2020 promises plenty more new music. Opener 'Mature Nature' is a sublime deep and dubby techno roller. Lush synth sequences light up the airwaves and take you to a crescendo somewhere in the heavens. It's an emotive affair for tender moments in the night. Greek born Echonomist is a European favourite with credits on Innervisions and Watergate. Here he shows off his house credentials again with a remix that breaks up the beats into more broken patterns, with crashing hits and more textured, frazzled bass. SouveQ then returns to the label after a fine solo single 'Csucsok' back in late 2019. His version layers in plenty of scattered percussion, retains the cosmic melodies and ups the dramatic levels with some epic breakdowns. 88Dubs then comes correct with 'Quanta', with its vast rubbery kicks and skewed, astral synth lines. There are sci-fi details in the grooves and plenty of atmosphere is created throughout. Last of all, Swedish-Greek talent Alexandros Djkevingr links with Russian-Greek Greg Ignatovich for a third remix. It comes after the pair have made their mark with gigs around Europe and tunes on labels like Diynamic. Here they flip 'Quanta' into an upright dark disco stomper with withering chords and plenty of macho energy. Secret Fusion continues to define the intersection between house, techno and dark disco with each innovative new EP.

Most of us come under the spell of the electronic cosmos sooner or later, but doing so at the tender age of 4 years rather seems highly exceptional. And even if this might appear almost impossible at first glance, this was indeed the case for young Christoph alias Click | Click, when he heard Kraftwerk for the very first time on the radio back then. Therefore, it is no surprise that this experience was going to change his life significantly.

His name thereby originates from his earliest musical roots when he was still forfeited to the more minimal sounds of Techno and in which time he also started his first own label Kassette Records in the year 2006. And even if much has happened since and a lot changed musically, Click | Click always remained true to his roots by keeping his name. Through his musical transformation from Minimal Techno to Jackin' House, also the labels changed in the course of time, on which we have been able to pursue his musical talent over the years.

In 2013, he already established his second labels Palms & Flamingos, meant to provide room for exactly such projects, which had developed over the years. Of course it did not take long, until many reputable labels of the scene got wind of his artistic refinement. Like this, Click | Click already put out numerous releases on imprints like Green Velvet/ Cajmere's Cajual, Shir Khan's Exploited Ghetto, Mihalis Safras' Label Mr. Carter/ Material and Riva Starr's Snatch! Records, which not only lead to countless chart positions on relevant platforms, but also caused further international interest in his music.

Productions like Teenage Killerfunkband (2010), Ducks In The Kiddie Pool (2013), Girls Girls Girls (2013), The Muzic Box (2015) or Birdhain (2017) made their way into the crates of scene pioneers like Magda, Jamie Jones, Green Velvet or Claude VonStroke. This diversified and respectable appreciation of his creative doing naturally provided him with numerous national and international performances in the best clubs and most important festivals of the world as well.

Like that, he already played in such reputable venues like the Watergate Berlin, Ministry of Sound London or D-Edge Sao Paulo, as well as the meanwhile relocated to Portugal BPM Festival Mexico or the Monarch/ Great Northern in San Francisco. Also his successfully completed tours through varying countries like Brazil, Mexico, USA, China, South Korea or Thailand make unmistakably clear, that the name Click | Click should not be forgotten too quickly.
