This sensationally crafted four track EP perfectly cap- tures the dark melodic techno sound that Francys has grown so accustomed to. An ambient and atmospheric undertone accompanies and surrounds each production on the EP, which is perfectly captured by the opening track ‘Different Shapes’. This production is a perfect opener displaying Francys diverse and unique sound that is often trademarked and recognizable by the synth melodies that layer each production.

Combining crisp closed percussion and haunting de- layed synth keys; ‘Nibiru’ offers a more minimal techno sound to the EP, with the distorted snare and powerful kick drum layered under the track. The baseline remains ambient leaving Francys synth arrangement to draw in the listener and drive the production forward.

‘Arcenciel’ captivates the listener with a fusion of darkened piano riffs and chilling melodies. This track is a stand out production from the EP, a steady dramatic progression over eight minutes resulting in the track gradually fading out accompanied by an echoed synth.

Now here's something special. Johannes Brecht returns to Poker Flat with a little night music, a trio of deep, dramatic and driving house tunes that in their precision and inven- tion are testimony to a distinctive intelligence.

Since an impressive stint as musical direc- tor for Henrik Schwarz's "Instruments" project and the subsequent release of 2013's "Holla", Brecht's reputation has been growing steadily with a series of carefully crafted 12"s. And if "Trois Nocturnes" is anything to go by, 2015 is set to be his year.

Nuages" hinges on a sinuous, snake-charming synth line. Instantly memorable, it's an exquisi- te headphone experience that's equally deadly on the dancefloor.

The lilting "Sirènes" teems with ideas, its big kick burnished with a dancing synth motif and a chamber orchestra of synthetic strings.

Last but not least, the motorik 12-minute "Fêtes" contrasts its knotty, brittle piano line with sus- tained pads and bright, striking syncopations.

2016 is shaping up to be an exceptional year for Spanish producers Daniel Banker and Inigo de la Riera. Fondly known as Animal Picnic, With their latest Ep's "Sinopsia" ,"Euphony " and "Vortex" and many remixes and collaborations with their label partners and other artists, this power techno & house duo are setting their sights high and are on route to conquering fresh musical territories.
The pair officially formed in 2012, after spending a season in Ibiza during 2013, the flood gates opened, initiating a stampede of creativity and support.

They were regular hosts on Ibiza Global Radio station and have released on numerous labels such as Steyoyoke, Parquet recordings, Sleazy Deep, dear deer, Spirit Soul Records and Kumasi, but Danny and Inigo's thirst to explore their abilities and changing music tastes, are far from quenched. 
In 2014, they continue to evolve their sound toward a darker more bass driven sound than what they have previously produced. In 2015 rise to the highest point of their path playing around he world in places like Rusia, USA, Dubai, Puerto Rico, Germany, Portugal, Latvia, Ucrania, Spain...

There are no signs of Ivory slowing down. And at least for now, he brings out another track which showcases his constantly-growing talent for producing big built-up dance-floor gems made to make us smile and let loose once in full effect. ‘Cathedral’ is undeniably no different. It takes its name from one of Ivory’s favourite short stories, by writer Raymond Carver - a slow-burning piece about a blind man visiting his long-term friend and her husband, where in the end the husband relieves all grudges against the blind man, and draws a Cathedral with him. Originating with a trippy four-to-the-floor structure, which explodes at every last count, ruthless tremors spell out the impending frustration as foretold via the husband narrator in the beginning of the story; a repeated sequence to indicate the continual annoyance as so put upon us. As a secondary beat builds up, we can feel the tension becoming bigger than ever. Yet beginning as downcast in their monotone manner, the computerised rasps take a turn for the majorised chord and build up the suspense. Packed full of the gargoyle screams and swirling around like the smoke dribbling from the mouth of the blind man in the story, the tension erupts in unmeasurable dilation. A meaty build up of suspension of the rage running through the air, the final quarter boils the tension downwards to relieve the angst and replaces itself in a rather relieved manner to fade us out with the flashes of positivity.
