Exclusive: Adria, Pau Roses, Quim - Gueto de Gracia

Adrià & Pau Rosés launch their label Cupula with the release of their fiver tracker Ciutat Bella, which contains three original tracks and two remixes. For the label debut the two also team up with Vince Void on the A3 Paral-lel and Quim on the A2, Gueto de Gracia to create some partly organ infused and slightly Acid-ish influenced takes that are designed for the floors, basically the place where Cupula was born since the Barcelona collective is known for their events (throughout the city). Gueto de Gracia is one of these tracks that pushes both, DJs and dancers, equally. A driving bass line is added some infective chords as well as proggy and slightly trancey elements that culminate in an Acid-line. The almost three minute build-up as well as seizing the before mentioned element throughout the last part of the track turn the track into an effective tool to keep a certain level in your sets or to ring in peak time.

Robsoul hits the triple century and marks the occasion with Phil Weeks diving deep into the archives to unearth, dust off and polish up some previously unreleased projects, all sitting pretty alongside a brand new jam from the Robsoul boss.  
A king of the cut up and master of the sample, Weeks has established Robsoul Recordings as a one-stop-shop for House music lovers. Deep jazzy grooves, filtered disco delights or nasty warehouse joints, all dipped in the magical dancefloor dust of Chicago, New York and Paris… The French label has become a treasure trove for the discerning DJ since its launch in 2000. Uncomplicated, supremely effective tools for the dancefloor. 
Release #300 opens with excellent ’Thuggish Ruggish’, the brand new track from Phil. Bumping, filtered and laced with a super smooth vocal sample, this hits with intention. 

Up next a brace of newbies in collaboration with fellow Frenchman and Robsoul regular, Joss Moog. The downy bass and filtered vocal of  2012’s ‘One Step Ahead’ has been tightened and remastered for release, sitting pretty alongside the aptly names ’Sure Shot’, with its spritely Rhodes melody and big bulbous bassline. 
Digging back further still, all the way to 2011, we’re graced with a perfect double from Weeks and one third of Apollonia, Mr Dan Ghenacia. The pair go all in on ’Source Sure’ and ‘Push’. Two tracks that work perfectly in the mix, Source Sure lights the French touch paper whilst Push delivers some 80’s Chicago flavour, topped with an electrifying vocal surprise. 

A fitting selection for a milestone release… Time to get down!
