Clinark pays his yearly birthday tribute to the GONG Bob Marley,  with his rendition of Bob's  classic Ambush In The Night. Bob wrote this song after the assignation attempt on his life.  The song holds a very deep and powerful message.

Clinark has just released a new single and video “Forever Came Today" to commemorate the passing of the legendary singer, Michael Jackson. UK based singer, songwriter and producer, (real name (Clinarke Dill) has given this cover a subtle Reggae twist. This Motown song was originally covered by Diana Ross & The Supremes in 1967.The Jackson 5 covered it in 1975 with Michael and Jermaine Jackson as joint leads.
Clinark say’s “I wanted to do this song as it’s a lesser covered version of the Jackson 5, that I like. But I can see why, as it required a lot of different treatment in terms of the production and vocals. This time I worked jointly with Carey Annerley on keyboards and MJ fan “Sylvia. A “on backing vocals.” “The song is now available to download on Revebnation.com/Clinark and on iTunes, Amazon and major download stores from tomorrow (26 June 2015), for $0.99 and less. Clinark has always been a loyal fan of Michael Jackson, as a young singer he covered Jackson’s songs in his hometown, Southampton, Bermuda, He has previously released “I’ll Be There” (May 2009) just before Jackson passing, and was looking forward to seeing him in concert, sadly that did not come to pass. Help Haiti is conscious Reggae  song that  I was  given the riddim The Dutch Gong Riddim by Esta Selekta ,i was  invited to write and collaborated on  in 2010. It was meant to be for a charity album with a dutch connection. Unfortunately, I don't think the album project was ever completed at the time. However, as one disaster has now lead to Hurricane Matthew my manager just asked me what happened to this work as she wanted to  us contribute to helping n some way too. So at the moment this is the unmastered track that I am now going to put out as a release under my own label Nurture Projects Music. The proceeds of which will go to a suitable charity to help the Haitian people. I am hoping then to release the final production in a few days time on digital download.

Help Haiti (Remix) is a conscious Reggae single by Clinark set to be released on 28 October 2016 by Nurture Projects Music on digital download.  The proceeds of the sales will go to a designated charity who will directly impact on relieving the suffering of the Haitian people.  We are in negotians as to which organisation would be suitable so will name them once finalized The song is inspired and in support of the people of Haiti who are suffering from the disaster of Hurricane Mathew, and continuing as one of the poorest economies historically and even prior the effects of the earthquake in 2010.
The background to this single being released is that it was a collaboration with the Dutch Gong Record label commissioned for the Haitian earthquake appeal in 2010. However, the compilation was never released at the time. Clinark says “we have remixed the earlier version and made reference to Hurricane Matthew… I hope it inspires people and world leaders to help the poor people of Haiti get back on her feet. I felt that I had to say something and I hope that this song helps make a contribution to the change that will have to come for Haitians very soon.”

Solo artist Clinark,  album “TRIBUTE TO MICHAEL JACKSON A LEGEND AND A WARRIOR” is available in mp3 on iTunes and CD Formats. from CD Baby.com and Clinark.com. Many of the songs on this 18 track album reflect Clinark’s Reggae influences as well as R&B. Some of the songs are acoustic tracks. Jackson's classic "I’ll Be There" is already a favoured track amongst Clinark’s fans which features Adele Harley. (See YouTube video below) having previously been released as single just prior to Jackson’s death in 2009.

Favoured tracks that reflect Clinark’s vocal talent are “Heal the World, the classic song, “We’re Almost There,” is given a new Reggae twist. Tracks “Lady In My Life” and “You Were There” are presented in an acoustic style. He makes his first venture into Dancehall style which lends itself to “They Don't Really Care About Us.” “Heartbreak Hotel” and Remember The Time.”

Clinark says, "I am totally honoured by the support I have received on this work. The Jackson 5 and Michael Jackson were a major musical influence and inspiration to me as I grew up. Later, my influences were the late Reggae legend Bob Marley, and UK Reggae band, Aswad amongst others."

In May 2009 with the anticipation of seeing Michael in concert in London at the 02 Arena, Clinark was singing along to “I’ll Be There.” Clinark says, “My manager, Juliet Edwards, suggested that I record the song. It was pre- released May 2009, unfortunately, Michael died in June. As time went on this recording was received well by DJ’s and fans as a tribute to Michael, being played around the world on radio stations.

Clnark says he is still affected by Jackson's passing. "I watched as the tragedy of Michael’s passing unfolded and joined fans around the world in the condolences. I recorded and released a few version of the song “Smile” in Dec 2009. It was one of Michael’s favourite songs. I was still devastated by Michael’s death, but set about putting the optimism into the song and celebrating the great contribution Michael made to this world." Clinark was encouraged by fans again and in June 2010 he recorded “I Just Can't Stop Loving You “& ”You Are Not Alone.” These songs are now available on this tribute album.

By August 2010, Clinark had many requests from fans via Facebook and Twitter for a Michael Jackson tribute album. He says, “I was encouraged by DJ Musical Genius and many fans to record this “Tribute to Michael Jackson A Legend and a Warrior.”So I re-assembled my old album crew of great musicians who worked on my debut album “Journey to Foreign” and “I’ll Be There.” We went back to Stingray’s Studio in London, with Dillie, Mafia & Fluxy, Stanley Andrew and Barbara Nap, with the addition of Michael Martin for classical piano and brass and strings for “Heartbreak Hotel.” Clinark says, “I hope you appreciate this tribute from my heart. Thanks to all those who have supported me in the works and Kevin Reeves of Universal Music Group for the mastering, who also I worked with on previous projects with Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 amongst others.” 

Clinark says “Michael Jackson, inspired me, he was the greatest performer to ever live and great a humanitarian. RIP Michael Joseph Jackson.”

 Singer, Clinark, has released a new birthday tribute and video to the late singer songwriter  and , icon Bob Marley (6 February 1945 – 11 May 1981)
 
 Singer, songwriter and producer, Clinark returns with a new cover and video tribute. The song was recorded in Bermuda alongside the video. This was shot on location at Southlands, Bermuda  with the support of fellow Rastas, Jah Yute,Ras Brendon, Monk White, Raymond Shabba Young, Jamar DJ Know good and Abasheedyi.
 
Clinark said " I wanted to commemorate Bob Marley's birthday by choosing my own favourite song. Although over the years I have done many tributes and covers I had never recorded Africa Unite, So I have given it my own modern interpretations in my own studio and hope it reflects the message as if Bob was here today"

Reggae singer Clinark has just produced another tribute to Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5. This one is “Maybe Tomorrow.” He is lead singer with Ingrid Welch on backing vocals. He says that the he continues to be inspired by Michael Jackson & The Jackson 5. He said for this one “I like the big arrangements and the mystical vibe from the song.

His previous works include "I'll Be There" (2009) just before Jackson's passing. He went on to release an 18 track album - A Tribute to Michael Jackson - A Legend and a Warrior (2010) and was nominated for British Reggae Industry Awards (BRIA).He released "Off The Wall & "Forever Came Today"(2015).  He also composed his own tribute to Jackson called "Happy Birthday MJ" (2014) which saw him move to a more Soulful House style. Reggae singer, Clinark is set to release a new EP, “They Don’t Care About Us - A Tribute to Michael Jackson.” and music video on 26 February 2013. It is a new Remix of his previous cover.The track features new Dubs and an instrumental versions. It will be available on digital download on his Nurture Projects Music label on iTunes, Amazon and many online stores.

Clinark, (pronounced Klin_ark) achieved prominence for his album “Tribute to Michael Jackson - A Legend and a Warrior,” (2010).This included the previously released single “I’ll Be There.” It was released just 4 days before Jackson’s death in June 2009. The choice of the remixed single ‘They Don’t Care About Us, was made because it was the most popular song on his Tribute album. The album was nominated in Best British Album category by the British Reggae Industry Awards(BRIA). Clinark was also nominated for Best British Newcomer. The long awaited music video will also be premiered on Nurture’s YouTube Channel.

The video was directed and produced by Chris Cargill of D.O.F 4:13 Productions. Clinark has previously worked with this team on earlier video projects including;"I'll Be There" and "Life in the Ghetto." The main choreographer was The Boogie Woman, from ”Thrill The World London,” the dance organisation which hosts the worldwide simultaneous dance of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” She also directed some of the scenes in the video. Her dance troop of children and young adults were filmed on location at the Kilburn Festival, London (2012). 

Look out for the captivating guest appearance of Elena Romanenkova, Michael Jackson tribute dancer and impersonator. She also choreographed and directed her own scenes on location in Ukraine. Musician/singer, Callum 'Mitch' Jackson makes a cameo appearance in the video as guitar player alongside Clinark.

This new release follows on from Clinark’s last single “Babylon City (2012). It was his self-penned message for the youth about the previous riots in nearby Tottenham. He was born in Bermuda, where he was in a series of successful Reggae bands. He now resides in Edmonton, North London. 

Clinark voiced and produced the re-mixed tracks at Blue Pro Studios in London, UK, working with Engineer, John Webber, . His first cover of this song was recorded at Stingray’s “Big House” Studio in London in 2010. EDMONTON, U.K. - Feb. 5, 2021 - PRLog -- Clinark was inspired to do this new heartfelt tribute to Marley. He said, "The King Of Reggae is an inspiration for my  life on the musical journey. This song "War" is still so relevant today. " He also released Bob Marley tributes "Guiltiness" (2017) and "Africa Unite" (2018), World Crisis & Liberian Girl (2020).

"War" first appeared on Bob Marley and the Wailers' 1976 Island Records album, Rastaman Vibration. The lyrics are  derived from a speech made by Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie
at the United Nations General Assembly on 4 October 1963.

"War" will be released on 8th February 2021 and available on most digital download stores at £0.99p on iTunes, Amazon & Tidal and will be streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, Soundcloud and more online stores.

Clinark, (born Clinarke Dill) is a solo Reggae and R&B singer, songwriter, musician and producer. He was born on the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda in the North Atlantic Ocean. Dill is an accomplished artist he sang in 3 Bermuda bands firstly, 'Youth Creation' (1984-1990),'Studio Six' (1990 to 1993) and 'Jahstice' (1994 to 1999). He briefly sang under the name of 'Dill-in-Jah' for his début solo single 'Dem Come'(2004). Dill currently resides in Edmonton, London, England.
In 2006, Dill released his first album, “Clinark Live in Holland with Poor Man Friend Band.” He continued to write more songs, a mixture of Culture, social commentary, ballads and Lovers Rock. This became his debut studio album “Journey to Foreign” (2008) and Deluxe Dub Album (2011). He worked with producers Mafia & Fluxy, guitarist Stanley Andrew and Matic Horns, at Stingray Studios in London. The 20 track album included collaborations with Maxi Priest with the song “Better Tomorrow” receiving a nomination as “Song of the Year” (2009). He also collaborated with Richie Spice, Luciano, Kofi, Brinsley Forde (Aswad) Gramps and Peetah from Morgan Heritage.
In June 2009, Dill released the Jackson 5 Classic, “I’ll Be There, just 4 days before Michael Jackson’s death. Dill said ”I was devastated that Michael passed and decided to release another single, ”Smile” (2009),This was recorded at Blue Pro Studio’s in London. Fans persuaded him to put out a whole album of songs. This was called “A Tribute to Michael Jackson - A Legend and a Warrior” (2010). The 18 track album covers songs with what Dill calls a “Reggae Twist” and two acoustic mixes. This album was also nominated for British Reggae Industry Awards (BRIA) in the Best British Album category as well as "Journey to Foreign.”
Dill released the single “Babylon City' (2012) a self-penned conscious Reggae song spawned by UK summer riots. House of Riddim in Austria and at Blue Pro Studios. Dill released a new EP, “They Don’t Care About Us - A Tribute to Michael Jackson (Remix)”.Michael Jackson fans still kept Dill busy in 2013 with requests for more covers. Also he released a newly penned song in August 2013 in commemoration entitled "Happy Birthday MJ.” In September 2013. He collaborated on Songweavers “Ray of Hope" for the 4th International Charity CD (International Peace Project) lyrics by Shimon Peres, President of Israel, and Clinark produced the music in Pop/Soul style.
In February 2015 Dill released a new mini album ‘The Solution” on the Famous Records label., the conscious title track, "The Solution,”calls for a "Rebel-U-tion" for the world, in the same vein as "Babylon City” and “No More War.” All of these tracks are included in the album with new Lovers Rock song on the "Unification Riddim" entitled "What You Gonna Do?" A reworking of his MJ tribute song “Happy Birthday Today” is also included.
