“Girl On Fire” is an emotionally charged piece inspired by tape recordings of Andy Warhol's first 'it girl', Edie Sedgwick, during her final stint in a mental institution in 1970. The track, fused with tender synth hooks and delicate atmospherics, creates an ironic feeling of beauty and sentiment around the struggling narcissist, providing a haunting soundtrack as we journey into the disturbing life of an American socialite turned drug addict. The final recording is a product of a live studio session between Tim Xavier and Insideout, running about 12 minutes in length. 

Also included are two remixes from Tim Xavier and Camea; one tech house version for the dance floor and one techno tool edit, made strictly with DJs in mind. Finally, Dana Ruh is, in her own right, on fire with her minimal house edit, staying true to her groovy aesthetic and methodical track composition. All three remixes are heartfelt renditions of the original, rounding out “Girl On Fire” as one of our most enchanting releases yet.

Mike Grinser shines with his first EP on Clink titled, ‘Let The World Spin’. This EP is a three-track collection of groovey, nurtured deep house tracks that will spoonfeed funk to your soul (and probably have you coming back for more). Grinser completed this EP in his recording studio with Max Loderbauer from the Moritz von Oswald Trio, doing extended live “jam” recordings of his pre-made loops while Max sequenced knobs with his modular gear on a Sequentix P3 Sequencer, some Doepfer A 100 and Cwejman Modules, and an LL Electronics Rozzbox. After doing some editing, transforming and chopping of these recordings, the result is an unparralled sound that metamorphisizes through the tracks, allowing you to sit back and enjoy the entire experience. The goal in the production of this EP was to invent a kind of sound structure which is constantly changing and never stays the same, leaving the interpretation up to the listener. The closer you take a listen, the more detailed it gets.

Aside from his undeniably seasoned talent for producing music, Grinser has an exceptional place in the history of electro and techno music. He was one-half of the infamous electro duo in the 90s, Dakar and Grinser, making it into the German Billboard Charts and on MTV. In 2001 he left munich and his residency at the famous Ultraschall club and moved to Berlin where he again became more involved in techno, achieving a DJ residency at the old Panorama Bar/Ostgut. Now, in his more mellow 2010, Grinser spends most of his time engineering with other artists, doing his bi-monthly residency at the legendary Club der Visionaere, and mastering and cutting at Manmade Mastering whilst working on his own production.

Clink 024 is a nostalgic collaboration from three of our original cast members; Tim Xavier, Tony Rohr, and Camea. This is how it all began, with Tim and Tony's surprise hit record in 2005 under the Afternoon Coffee Boys moniker on Clink 001. Over the last five years, the duo has managed to stay together through a whirlwind of life changes, and their music is stronger than ever. After two years of
independent projects, we are proud to announce that the ACB have finally reunited with two outstanding techno pieces titled, "Riding the Edge (Part 1 and Part 2)".

In the first version of the track Tim and Tony ride the edge of experiment, combining signature Xavier percussion with Tony's live synthesis modulation; creating a sexy, evolving minimal piece that propels listeners through whirling melodies and kaleidoscopic atmosphere. The result is an unparalleled, orbiting excursion into the vortex of their sound, finding a place where, quite possibly, Science and Fiction might be inclined to meet for an afternoon social.

In V2, the ACB ride the edge of execution, using their seasoned techniques to create a dance floor masterpiece that has all of the pieces perfectly in place. This techno arrangement is light and effortless, but still bangs it's way into a peak time crate with ease. Tony and Tim leave no mercy in this arrangement, putting their best foot forward to create quality, mixable techno.

Finally, Camea puts her two cents in with a tech house remix, taking the original pieces and modulating them with delay effects and chorus automation. Adding some additional basslines to make it her own, she seals the deal with an "acid" vocal, taking the release to a whole new level with psychotropic elements and funky percussion.
