And if Corona would not have happened 2020 would have seen Toy Tonics Jams all over Europe every weekend with Residencies at clubs like XOYO, London and Griessmühle, Berlin. The events are rescheduled and will happen in 2021. Meanwhile Toy Tonics has released a couple of big tracks. They are all collected on this compilation. Neo Soul House, Future Disco and organic dance music by Cody Currie, Joel Holmes, Kosmo Kint, Magou, Phenomenal Handclap Band, Kapote, COEO, Mangabey, Sam Ruffillo, Rhode & Brown, Sano & Munk.

After contributing a track to the "TALKIN' GREEN" V.A., London-based vinyl-digger and producer Donny Rotten is back on theBasement Discos with a full EP, "FUNK BEFORE SLEEP".

Donny's expertise in finding lovely oldschool Soul and Funk samples and combining them with punchy drums and sweet synth melodies really shows in this dancefloor-oriented 4-tracker.

When you pay attention, you'll also notice the funky guitar riffs Donny recorded with his Telecaster, most noticeable in "Norward Keys".
"FUNK BEFORE SLEEP" really combines the best of both worlds: oldschool funkyness and modern House grooves to create a punchy Disco House EP.
