"Tomahawk Records" is a new label that resists genres and hones in on the curation and sound of new artists. The label is keen to push undiscovered artists out into the periphery and give them the support to help grow as individuals.
The first release which is just round the corner is by the Australian duo "Anthony Fade", two hidden gems found on Soundcloud. Their process is a simple combination of hardware and software instruments and heavy use of ambient recordings and various samples. The EP titled "Like That" contains four tracks of late summer vibes, dreamy vocals and a massive dose of energy getting ready for winter.

Sinceer is a Chicago based artist carving his unique imprint on dance music.  His track ‘EMP’ is both pensive and full of suspense, yet it still manages to find its way into a full-on burner. Yaphet Kotto is a genre bending piece of dance music incorporating house, breaks and techno into an intoxicating mix of peak time abandon. Inspired by the booming laugh of everyone's favourite Alien hunter, the aforementioned Mr. Kotto, the track combines dark and chunky drums with atmospheric melodics and powerful chord stabs leading to a euphoric climax.

This gloomy, late night empty streets rendition makes you ponder what was more crunchy today - this track or your breakfast cereal this morning… accompanied by a tasteful glitchy acid line that creeps in and out like the dial-up speeds of your 2003 internet. I’m sure you're having flashbacks of off-white massive tv screen monitors and that lush green hill background which was the only thing keeping you from throwing the whole thing out the window. Maybe the soft yells and screaming vocals in this track represent the internal screaming you had trying to work those damn stone age computers.. Ohh what a time to be alive.
