Following the success of his last RS release, 'Ripples,' the enigmatic Wallace returns to Rhythm Section after a series of stellar releases with a highly anticipated follow-up - ‘Papertrip’

This is another Wallace record that is destined to be a global club and festival favourite. His last releases received extraordinary support from such a wide range of DJ’s including Gilles Peterson, Palms Trax, Blond:ish, Moxie, Hunee and DJ Tennis and this new EP is set to expand this roster of supporters.

Wallace's impact on the scene has been nothing short of extraordinary, since Ripples he has gone on to play in the iconic Panorama bar, tour Japan and release a double LP on Mule musiq. Wallace continues to cultivate a dedicated following among discerning listeners and industry tastemakers alike. Plastic GRN made his debut on clipp.art half way through 2019 with the fiercely funky “Ohh Perck”, a major weapon in the fight against Funk Inequality®, which graced many a USB stick. Since then we’ve seen the end of the world in both viral and artificial intelligence senses (editor note: ok maybe just “the start” of the end of the world), and plenty of changes of the guard in musical taste and attitude. In 2024, Plastic GRN returns with his Lost Mary EP - a short collection of biting bangers aimed squarely at the centre of the dance floor. Beginning with the broken robot energy of “FM2”, a wake up call for the troops, with a powerful second act guaranteed to elicit rhythmic finger pointing at speakers. Then sliding into titular track “Lost Mary” a piano stabbed belter that harkens back to the power hour of 2000’s french house (ed: see Institubes et al Surkin, Das Glow, etc). Closing out the trio of tasty thumpers is “Blissim”, a rave-tastic sirens call to pick up arms (and legs). Seriously people, these shapes ain’t going to cut themselves. Yeah, times change, people move, attitudes evolve, Barbie should've won all the Oscars. Sometimes you are lost, sometimes you are found. And sometimes we feel like observers, trying to understand the movement of the stars, watching the red shift and trying to make sense of it all. Thankfully Plastic GRN is shining a light so we can find our way in the dark. Of the dancefloor.

With previous releases on the likes of Nervous and Street Tracks, Melbourne's Jwalker is fast becoming a very dependable name for house thumpers. Returning to local label Refuge Recordings, he serves up another two weapons. 'Bad News' fuses juggernaut bass with classic '90s house beats, ravey stab samples and Detroit flavoured strings to make for one serious workout, while 'What U Put Me Through' takes an almost dub-style approach to its undulating low end and tense organ notes, veering towards the UKG side of things with cheeky spinbacks and sorrowful, soulful vocal samples.
