Beginning in the south, the Bruce Trail hugs the ancient shoreline of Lake Iroquoia as it follows the edge of the Niagara Escarpment. The Path, over its lengthy journey, winds its way through a landscape of natural beauty as it moves up to central Ontario. 
As the Trail leads further into the depths of the woodland and Ravine, sunlight falls through layers of evergreen branches stamping intricate patterns on the forest floor. Continuing north, the Trail passes an array of plants and wildlife native to the historic forest. Vivid colours saturate the forest canopy, complimented by the sounds of the cascading waterfall echoing through the Ravine. In the distance a carpet of gently waving fern cover the rolling hills dotted with slow-growing centuries-old coniferous trees that reach towards the sun.
At the home stretch of the escarpment you will be offered stunning views of the Peninsula, with the calm blue water of the western end of Lake Ontario reaching out to the lush greens of the temperate rainforest. This is the journey of the Bruce Trail.

Rounding up five years of Heist also means we’re releasing our fifth version of the Round Up. Last year’s edition was full of highlights with Fouk remixing Nachtbraker’s anthem ‘Hamdi’ and Alma Negra going all tribal on Nebraska’s ‘Big plate chicken’. This year, we’ve seen a lot of new faces on the label, which has brought us a fresh set of combinations and a couple of really nice revisions of the tracks that made our year. Boyard from Belfast Ireland, makes completely sick music and has his own imprint called Mystic Mountain Express and we trust those of a fine musical pedigree will check that out! We planned to release a complete album of these “old studio jams” but due to the sheer volume of wicked tunes felt it was better to break them down into two easily digestible eps. Fear not dear listener, both arrive with different tastes so you can enjoy them without moderation. A brief description of what transpires next: “Staring Into Space” is hot for the heads that love a square bass, and be honest ‘who doesn’t’? “Interstellar Express” comes strong on the breaks but has an understated acid vibe, with overlapping LFO sweeps and earworm vocal. A real groove builder. Totally spatial. “Night Shift” has a tribal dub mayhem meets a ”sort of Metro Area” vibe. Hard to not be into this. “Out of Sight” wraps things up with a 3/4 idm riddim thing going on and almost like a chem bros thing going on.. And i’m about it! Get lost in this collection of movin’ jams.
