Cat Calamities - Elijah's Podcast

Sampling sounds from gaming, ringtones and online culture over the past 25 years, our MiniCLIP group took inspiration from frutiger aero aesthetics and, ambient sounds and breakcore music to create soundscapes. These have been woven together, along with sounds from our Holiday Fun attendees to create a journey through glitchy and dreamy digital sounds.

This was the starting point for World Beneath the Water — a creative sound and storytelling project with students from Wilburton Primary School, produced by artist Susanne Jasilek of Cambridge Curiosity and Imagination in partnership with CLIP and the Centre for Landscape Regeneration at Cambridge University. Inspired by ongoing scientific research into the Fens, students were invited to imagine an underwater world and bring it to life through sound, sculpture, and movement.
