Introducing YASMIN, the winner of Your Shot Brisbane 2022. Fresh to the DJ scene, YASMIN started DJ’ing towards the end of 2022. Since winning the competition, she has played at various clubs, events and festivals around Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sydney. Supporting artists like Quix, Crossy, Gentlemens Club, Example, and playing for companies like Massive, Subliminal and Triggafingaz, YASMIN loves anything drum and bass.

Born in England, YASMIN hopes to shed more light on drum and bass and expand the love for the genre Australia wide. From liquid to jump up, YASMIN’s passion for drum and bass is unmatched. Whether it be the freshest hits or the naughtiest doubles, YASMIN never fails to get the crowd jumping.

THEMZY @RABBITS EAT LETTUCE 2024

It was a dream come true to take over the Roller Disco stage at Rabbits with all female/NB collective Clitoverse! Still can't believe that I played on a stage that doubled as a roller skating rink - one where the stage was a pair of lips and to get in, you had to enter through vulva. 

I closed out the stage on the Saturday night, starting off with some bass house party vibes and finished my encore off with some dank midtempo. Slipped the cheekiest remix of Pony in there too, I love when the 'pounding the mattress' sample kicks off and everyone's face goes 😮 

Rabbits had some of the best music I've ever heard at a festival! Some of my faves were Daddy Longlegs, Rakish, Preemo Trash and Moontide. Already can't wait for the next one.
