Well, this is one of those song performances that has that certain something

Mo Anam Cara - Translated as "My Soul Mate" or "My Soul Friend"

The ancient Celts believed in a soul that radiated about the body. They believed that when two individuals formed a deep and lasting bond that their souls would mingle. Therefore, each person could be said to have found their "anam cara", or "soul friend".

This song which I wrote in 2015 takes this a stage further as two such souls who have been leading separate lives realise they have loved each other before.....

I sat down one morning and began to play this melody basically as it is in this track. I started singing the first two lines and didn't take long to complete the lyrics. It was one of those moments when everything came together. At first I thought it was a simple 'easy listening' track, but as i mixed it, i began to feel the message in the song is quite strong.

My last chill out mix..
In this set I combined a traktor with an ableton. As for the traktor, I played from 4 channels, while in ableton I used drum machine and samples from the other 8 channels.

I love words and I love to make music, I have always written my own music and have always tended to lean towards instrumentals, My more recent songs are vocal compositions but the instrumentals still appear as and when they need to! My influences are many and varied, Vangelis, Tomita, The Alan Parsons Project, Paul Simon, John Denver, Billy Joel, Bob Segar, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Neil Diamond, to name a few, so many good bands and  songwriters! 
I write new stuff nearly everyday but only record a few. I do this mostly for me and it’s great when other people like my stuff! Hopefully you are one of those people!
