The Bay Area based DJ, Producer and Vocalist shares the EP opener 'Cosmic Love', a Footwork influenced synth heavy bass banger we instantly fell in love with. Mars hosts an event series 'Club Triste' highlighting DJs from the local and global underground. Mars has played alongside legends such as Addison Groove, DJ Manny, Regal 86 & DJ Noir. She also worked with Qrion on their Anjunadeep release. Track 2 co-produced by Nikes. Tracks 1 & 3 mixed by DJ Earl. Mastered at Precise.

Now expanding into a label and experimental home for producers to explore their own versatility, traverse presents its debut compilation: traversée. An eight-track VA of moods and grooves that skips between styles and bpms through a collection of atmospheric pieces designed directly for the dancefloor.

Encouraging artists to explore creative avenues that they would have otherwise passed by, traverse is a space to share new ideas and personal reflections that aren’t tied to any one convention or formula.

Populated by producers from all corners of the world, from Brazil to Japan via Mexico and the Czech Republic, traversée 001 is a unifying body of work that truly reflects the ethos behind Lolo Batten’s traverse platform.

Pura Pura & Hyas: "This track is all around the sample, which comes from Piero Piccioni - an Italian composer that we love. I (Pura Pura) started working on a loop without going further. I knew Hyas would transform it in a Juke banger. The blend between this soft voice and the crazy bass makes it a perfect for the club, a bit melancholic and makes you want to give everything on the dancefloor."

“Just Like Home” marks Benbo and Ovid’s first collaborative effort for Loosee, featuring remixes from London experimental sorceress object blue and Brooklyn star in the making No Sir. With entrancing vocals and intricate sequencing leading the collection, the pair fall in lockstep with each other—trading off swinging percussion for unrestrained drum work to create a balanced contrast throughout.  

The project represents over a decade of friendship and informal collaboration between the pair and culminates in a five-track EP that makes you feel like you can catch a bullet with your bare hands.
