Welcome to EP216 of the NDYD Radio Show. I know I missed last week show so to make up for it I made this one twice as long and I have to admit it turned out to be one of my favorites episodes to record this year. For no particular reason except that every track in this show is the kind of track that will drag me to dance floor. In other words these are the kind of tracks that really get me going. I am so happy that producers are sticking with making fun groovy disco infused tracks as oppose to the EDM'ish tracks that were dominating the dance floors before the pandemic. Now clubs, promoters, and people  just want to get their groove on and have fun when dancing. I'm all for that. Enjoy!

Something funny happened this week as I was hanging out on Abbott Kinney in Venice Beach and having a coffee. I was on the phone speaking with a friend and our conversation turned to House Music and the radio show. The people next to me couldn't help but over hear my conversation and when I was done two people approached me. They told me they were fans of the show (wow) and they have these private events locally where the people who attend are true House Heads who love their music served on the underground side. One of these events was happening on Saturday and they invited me to play :) Underground, House Music, and people who are connaisseurs, how can I say no? Well, I did play at this little private gathering and I brought my recorder. Here is the recording of what transpired and I had a blast playing for these folks who were really the dictionary's definition of House Heads. It looks like I'll be doing this again soon as it seems they really enjoyed it. Now it's your turn  to enjoy this recording so... enjoy :)

I am sure making up for all those months where there was 'radio silence' on the show. Number 229 is up. Another milestone for the program. Number 250! That is a lot of freakin' music available for your ears right here. I am happy also that the person who is taking us across the 250th milestone line is  someone who is becoming a regular on the show, my friend Pepper (@pepper_playhouse). She is very in tune with what the show has always been about from the beginning and this set captures that spirit no doubt.
