An excerpt from a 17-minute composition for the Tufts University Dance department titled "Same Language," commissioned by Renata Celichowska for the Tufts 2014 Spring Dance Performance, completed in collaboration with Ruben Sonz-Barnes, and performed at Tufts University on April 4th and 5th, 2014. The voices and background textures you hear are samples from interviews conducted with each of the 9 dancers involved with the project. Cimbalom and piano samples were taken from a recording of John McDonald's " Double Diptych for Cimbalom and Piano." In this portion, there are samples taken from a course on Kant's Critique of Pure Reason at Tufts University. The theme of the event was "Community Emerging From Individuality."
