Well, well, well. It's been a minute since we uploaded something for you guys.

For any of the old heads who still listen back to the old radio sessions, the old mixtape releases, interviews and guest mixes, thank you so much. I missed doing clockwork stuff every day for the past 5 years. It was the greatest time sharing music with people from all over and connecting with so many producers and artists.

I moved from Ireland to Canada 5 years ago and I'm still here in Toronto now. Even though, I stopped uploading stuff here, I've still been heavily involved in music. From working as a recording engineer, to mixing records for artists and producing music, I've been keeping myself busy. 

But I noticed some time around the pandemic, that a lot of the passion I had for music was starting to dwindle. Always short on money, always chasing opportunities, seeing so many people riding trends, etc. My heart wasn't in it for a while there. 

So recently I started to think back to the Clockwork days. The crew of friends we all had involved together. Doing live shows as a team, compiling mixtapes as a team. And just hanging out with each other. That was my most favourite time in music by far. 

I'm not 100% sure where I'm going with this. I'm just typing and seeing what comes out. But basically, I found my passion for music again this year. In part due to the amazing musicians/producers/engineers I've met here in Toronto. And also in part to just being old enough to not give a shit anymore. 31 year old BMac gives no shits about anything other than enjoying sharing music again. Both my own music and other peoples music. 

So here's what's up. I don't fully know yet to be honest 🤷‍♂️😂

But @chop-soul is my new producer name. I'm gonna be uploading my own personal beats over there. Any full mixtape releases will also be uploaded here on the Clockwork page as well as on Bandcamp. So if you wanna keep in the loop with my music, head over to @chop-soul and hit the follow button. 

I will be doing the radio show again. I'm not 100% sure when just yet. But within the next 8 weeks, the first show will be uploaded. Not sure if it's gonna be uploaded here or on the Chop Soul page just yet. I'm easing myself into things and above all making sure I have fun. And also making sure, I only upload the best shit for you guys. I was picky as hell back in the day about only uploading high quality shit, and I'm the exact same now. 

Don't expect over the top click bait posts, political commentary or cheesy ass thumbnails. Once the upload schedule gets sorted, it will be very consistent. Radio shows and beats. Simple as that. Let's start up our own tribe again. Doesn't matter how small it is. If you want to be a part of it in some way, hit me up.
