We have an unexpected guest mix, and it's the best I've heard in months - not just in terms of message and energy. Firstly, it's an accurate accounting of the current state of mind and the "mode of sensibility" into which everything that was vivid and real in the so-called "Russian industrial underground" has evolved. And secondly, no matter how insistent the authors are in their reclusiveness, this mix is exactly about what Russian war deprives us of: freedom, freedom to choose and normal abnormality.

У нас неожиданный гостевой микс, и это лучшее, что я слышал за последние месяцы —не только в плане посыла и энергетики. Во-первых, это точная инвентаризация нынешнего состояния и «расширенного режима чувствительности», в которые эволюционировало все, что было живого и настоящего в т.н. «русском индустриальном подполье». А во-вторых, как бы не упорствовали авторы в затворничестве, этот микс ровно о том, чего нас эта война лишает: свободы, свободы выбора и нормальной ненормальности.

Как утверждают авторы, внутри вы найдете непростой синтез по мотивам творений таких великих, как Пациэнд, Тзусинг, Лана Дель Рей, Морван, Бэд Лсд Трипс, Дес Ин Джун, Му-Га, Кимшиз ремиксед бай Муфти, Александр Ганд, Тесте, Сауерстоффф, Лоуэр Тар, Беллатрикс, Асимметрикал и прочие моджахеды Роу Калче, Анна Фанк Дэмедж, месье Декабрь и т.п. Manufactured Conflicts is the hard-hitting precision engineered debut from one of electronic music’s most acclaimed experimental underground’s drummer. His cinematic math-laden techno is a combination of beastial, off-pulse rhythms, clever metric modulation, inspired textures and punchy transients designed to bend the listener’s mind whilst providing a high-impact full-body massage groove to the dancefloor.

Fierce and punishing, title tracks ‘Manufactured Conflicts’ and ‘Orbature’ pummel away at the consciousness where the only way out is through whole mind and body surrender. Manipulations of the mind play out in the two end-game scenarios of ‘Artificial Landscapes Part 1 and 2’, where lightness and tension interlace between man and machine.

Samuel Kerridge thoughtfully re-engineers ‘Orbature’ re-pacing the structure and contributing additional textures to the piece. His rework sculpts a haunting industrial feel to the track.

Sorcery cuts a unique presence in electronic music’s experimental underground. A passion for the interaction between acoustic and electronic instruments has led to the creation of intricate, mind bending and challenging compositions.
