Lately, I’ve been reflecting on why I chose electronic music—especially coming from a background in flamenco guitar. For a while, I kept asking myself, What exactly is techno? But I’ve come to see that this question leads away from the truth rather than toward it. Now I ask something simpler, more personal: Why am I drawn to this sound? Each track gives me small, wordless answers—fragments of what I’ve been feeling, seeing, thinking. It’s not about genre or how it might sound to others. It’s about translating lived experience into sound—unfiltered, emotional, and real, in a way that captures the emotional imprint of my recent life, moment by moment. Freedom has always been precious to me. I feel most free in the mountains—especially standing before the twin peaks of Ushba. That mountain means something very real to me. It took the life of my friend this year—a true Svan, a pure Georgian soul. I’ve never met anyone like him.The best Mountaineer, freerider and skier, a man of extraordinary dignity, someone who would open his home to anyone. He was one in a billion. This mix is more than music to me. It’s not a project or a product—it’s everything. A personal imprint of all I’ve been processing: grief, awe, beauty, and a longing for something beyond words. In that way, it’s not something I made. It’s something that revealed itself.

Influenced by a hypnotic style of techno with occasionally psychedelic overtones, she also draws inspiration from ambient and more experimental genres. Her passion for exploring and discovering new sounds allows her to remain in constant evolution. Based in Paris, she is the co-founder of La Taquinerie, a collective that organizes events combining ambient, downtempo, video performance and poetry. She has had the opportunity to share the stage with renowned artists and to play in iconic venues such as Berghain.

Having spent much of her youth deep in Cologne’s techno scene while staying connected to Georgia’s electronic music culture, Mariami brings a blend of both influences to her sets—carefully built, emotive and textured.
Since 2021, she has been part of the Brutalism label, where she also curates events across West Germany.

Her sound combines warm, textures with low-end pressure—subtle yet forceful, emotional yet controlled. Long transitions and contrast-driven selections define her approach, moving fluidly between atmospheric rhythms and heavier, percussive elements.

Originally hailing from Reykjavik, he has been a stepping stone in the Icelandic electronic music scene for over a decade. Known for his seamless sets, Árni mixes with ability and versatility to move between different styles.

Árni started the label NIX, a label that stands out in the techno scene, catching the attention of some of the genre's biggest names. NIX is home to a diverse range of artists, and Árni's carefully curated releases have gained worldwide recognition, namely finding a home at Hardwax. 

Despite his music and label owner career, he doesn't take himself too seriously and believes in embracing the fun in everything he does. Whether behind the decks or helping out other artists, Árni brings a forward-thinking attitude to dance music without ever losing his down-to-earth approach.
