Exshaw… the haunted place where folks go missing in inexplicable ways, where ravers throw open air summer parties in the woods, where the raw nature shows its esoteric side to the explorative youth, an escape from the city. The inspiration for Ryan James Ford's debut album is also a tribute to time spent exploring there in his past! After living in Berlin for some years now he came to realisation of how much influence nature and the area surrounding his hometown (Calgary) had on him.

Ryan has captured his experiences and musical influences over the years. Growing up in an area were the contrast of nature and technology was more than palpable. Stories of haunted areas, swimming in the cold river water, going to raves in the nineties. Exploration, optimism, youth and growing… His memories surrounding ’Exshaw’ are all translated in the sound design and programming on this 14 track album ranging from almost cinematic pieces to full on dancefloor belters.

His debut album will be released on Clone/Dub Recordings fall 2021.

Ryan James Ford - Exshaw [Clone Dub 046LP]

A while back, we commissioned remixes from Buttechno and Triš. In light of Russia’s continued invasion of Ukraine, we’re donating all the proceeds from this release to Livyj Bereh, a Kyiv-based group of volunteers raising funds for necessary gear and vehicles, as well as the rebuilding of homes across the regions affected by war. Sustained help is still essential.

It’s Guillermo Lucena's first full EP ever- we're happy to start his journey on Ozelot.  
The sheer weight of repetition spilling out of his track "Balada Lenta" is remarkable and brings the simplicity of a 303 into new fields of depth - A tool full of blissfull euphoria.

Being a part of a catalan rock band called „Fotos De La Novia“ and being a part of barcelonas clubbing scene combined.

"Mi Corazon" is a beautifully executed piece of beautiful dub moments, topped with a big chunk of melancholy, heartbreak and hope.

The title track being deconstructed into a maintime tool by our friend O-Wells from Berlin, while one of Ozelot's headhonchos Manuel Fischer delievers a spirally, tooly and frickly broken remix for the late hours.

Careering through the red sandy desert it was hard to see through the fog. There was but a faint line in which the sky met the open plains before them as they bounced and shuffled atop the dusty outback in their little buggy.

From time to time they'd catch a brief glimpse through the smog to see the sunlight up above but sooner than it had come it would vanish in a flash plunging them once again into the smokey abyss of the great unknown.

The journey had always been a perilous one, even in the best of conditions and circumstances it was a challenge for the most ardent of adventurers.

This was what separated them from the rest, an explore 2.0 if you will. The keenest of the keen and the only team that might be able to transcend the reckless wasteland which was this red desert of chaos.

Frankfurt producer n9oc releases a new EP on Die Orakel, a futuristic release which draws influence from UK bass, deconstructed club sounds and Techno. It's as pensive as it is euphoric in moments.

Fibre Optixx presents his 3rd EP ‘Body Thing’ on KANN. Split into two parts, the release draws on a deep love for the fundamentals of 90s dance music. Constantly chopping in chunks of influence, Body Thing is an ode to the frameworks of house and techno.

“What If” is a deep and groovy cut from the first half of the release, with a psychedelic mantra that rolls over the tracks percussive repetitions.

pi pi pi premiere: Fibre Optixx - What If (KANN)

Nerve Collect co-founder Gamma Intel follows up label partner Identified Patient's inaugural release with his thrilling E.M. EP. Across six club-ready cuts, the Dutchman explores the spaces where bass, techno, electro and acid all intersect. E.M. is available in digital and physical 12'' format.

On the A side 'Little Mirror Man' opens up with an elastic but thumping broken beat. A flurry of jungle drums rain down next to scratched metal stabs, bleep-techno melodies and all underpinned with heavy bass rumbles. 'Save Pair of Hands' doesn't let up, with knick-snapping hits and earth-shattering bass weight. As heavy as the groove might be, there is still plenty of room for deft synth designs to bring plenty of emotion. On '5AM-SBM' you are tugged in many directions at once - nimble drums dart about beneath prickly percussion and flaming hits that have a mind of their own. Although the low end is distorted, the details up top are well-defined and given plenty of space to make their mark.

The flipside takes off on turbocharged techno-electro fusion 'Sleep and Cry.' It's a devastating and visceral drum track that also packs an emotional punch as celestial chords suspend you at the doors of heaven. 'Panthera Leo' soundtracks the end of the world as acid lashes about amidst controlled but unrelenting drum chaos and finally, the drilling bass and frantic drum programming of 'Trust' is another all-powerful club track. Its dark energy sucks you in for a white-knuckle ride to remember.

This EP finds Gamma Intel pulling off plenty of unusual tricks and twists on his way to conquering the dance floor.

After releasing Oceanic’s 2017 live recording at the end of 2018, De School’s home imprint De Nieuw returns with four club-ready interpretations of Oceanic’s concert on modular synths and strings. First up is Oceanic’s take on his live recording, turned into the perfect fit for his halftime DJ-sets and a much-asked track ID. This track found its way to De School regulars upsammy and Pariah who have each created their own version.

Both are basement ready: a dub-inspired trip from Pariah’s side while upsammy performed her melodic magic on the string hook of the original. Closing off is Oceanic’s Beat Tool: a stripped-down drum workout that focusses on the percussion, the strings still echoing in the background. Together these tracks represent different visions of the original, both suitable for clubs in the future and home play today.

The second part of two additional EPs in Delsin's Eevo Lute re-issue program includes a full 45 rpm cut of the Wladimir M. classic 'Evil'. On the b-side a fresh and drum heavy interpretation of 'Planet E' by Skee Mask. With almost non of the original parts available Skee Mask turns Wladimir's vocal lines up side down and transforms it into a 140 bpm breakbeat monster. Closer of the EP is the strong and emotive 'Disappointment' track, for first time on a vinyl single.

The night was cold and dark as he skipped through an electronic maze of obscure shapes and patterns. This was his journey into digital sleep, a realm in which all things were unseen and built solely from pixels and flickering electronics. The world around him was not physical but virtual and as he dreamt in the darkness he began to shake and shuffle beneath the strain of the bright flashing lights which illuminated this fantasy world. Where was he? How had he got here? 

UNPOSED is a record label based in Germany, run by MSJY the imprint releases futuristic, experimental, electronic music with post modern tendencies. They have just announced a new compilation in aid of those under threat by the Yemen food crisis with all profits being donated. This track from the release is by Paz Shina.
