The Anjunadeep Edition 17 with Martin Roth

Tyler Ov Gaia combines the styles of the past and future into a holistic continuum.

His DJ sets aim to create an immersive experience, gradually leading the audience into an energetic ritual. Tyler is active in the Italian underground circuit, where he shares his concept of music as a cathartic, transformative practice.
In addition to synthesizers and electronic devices, he also works with ancestral instruments like Gongs and Divya.
In his music therapy sessions, he combines various techniques, including guided meditation, bodywork and touch.
As a DJ and producer, he explores the music genres by experimenting various grooves and tempos.
His sonic realm includes the tranquil melodies of ambient music, dark green vegetations, ethereal elements, dub, percussion-driven electronica and ecstatic psychedelia.

Welcome to Shelter's SoundCloud channel. Here we will continuously publish a selection of set recordings from the basement. 

The grand debut comes from one of our favourite house outfits: the distinguished gentlemen of Italojohnson. Their first time in Shelter resulted in total rapture, with the trio playing well into the next morning, with an incredible crowd that showed no signs of wanting to go home.

Artist statement;
"A show at Shelter is always very special to us. We've spent
quite some time on different occasions at this vibey place below the ADAM
tower and it always feels a bit like coming home.

"And that is mostly because of the people. A very welcoming crowd
generating high spirits and that would most probably break a leg (or even
2) on the dance floor. No one seems stuck in just one style of electronic
music - if you strike the right cord, anything will be possible - believe
us ;)

Combine this atmosphere with an excellent and perfectly tuned sound system
and you get what they call "a club experience".

We are really looking forward to our next appearance on February 9th.
