Our first anniversary is here! To celebrate, we present this LP of Remixes to what was our first reference, THE SUN. In it we have had the great pleasure of having 3 great international artists, leaders in the Drum & Bass scene, such as NICKBEE, BLACK BARREL and CZA, and with 4 of the most representative names of our national scene: DUB ELEMENTS, KURSIVA, IMPAK and SAVE THE RAVE.

Variety of styles and rhythms focused on a single goal: NEUROFUNK. A whole commitment on our part to continue growing little by little and to continue advancing in our purposes.

London based duo Kaizen Flow make their return to Expedite with their flip of Foks track WehWoh. Nick & Shane have taken the fun and funky elements from the original and turned this into a club banger.
Nick & Shane - "With this remix we wanted to keep a lot of the elements that we enjoyed from the original and turn it into something with our own twist that we could play in the club, we definitely geared it towards being played in a club but really wanted to keep that fun and funky vibe That Foks adds into all his productions."

The Cognitive Dissonance EP is the result of months of psychedelic sound design blended with a Neurofunk style that gels it all together. After playing with psytrance production for the first time in a decade, trying to create the signature sounds found within the genre while making a track in memory of TN.EXE/Astroscope (Tenille), the mission was to implement them into neurofunk/techy drum & bass. This is what gives the release its unique feel and vibe throughout.

The journey was years in the making; it's a culmination of life experience and passion for sound design. The primary inspiration for the release can be traced to years of psytrance and drum & bass festivals and events, and the inspiration was drawn from trying to meld these together.

The release is dedicated to Tenille, James' late soulmate and close friend to Ross, a Drum & Bass DJ who loved both Psytrance and Techy Drum & Bass and was created just a couple of months after she left us in late 2020. After building a life together in Melbourne, Aus and then moving to China and representing Unchained Asia, Tenille and James both played gigs together all over the country and travelled the world attending various festivals. One festival that left a real mark was an event in Germany called Freqs of Nature, this was a 7-day festival held at an abandoned WW2 airfield a couple of hours out of Berlin, featuring Heavy Neurofunk artists and Dark Psytrance artists. The vibe was psychedelic, but ominous at the same time, a tone that is woven throughout this release.
