Would you look at that, another sound design and groove relic surfacing in the DnB world that happens to come from Russia (and definitely with love). Consistently smashing neurofunk imprint for several years now Close 2 Death is back again with a brand new and red hot album - Warp Fa2e's "No Fear" LP! In the world of next-level neurofunk, you won't find that it gets much better than this.
Warp Fa2e made his artist debut on YouSoFat with monster of a tune called "Cracks" in 2014, and now with a handful of singles and EPs on labels like Greypost Audio and even this one, the Russian badman up-and-comer is ready for his career beginning full length album. "No Fear" LP proudly boasts ten solid tracks that are far from minimal. This is not DnB for the weak or feeble, this is as hard and thrashing as technological neuro goes without turning into just plain crossbreed or hardcore. With tunes like "Fatman" showcasing a really slick Telekinesis-like sound and anthems like "Total Destruction" and title track "No Fear" (featuring the likes of Neuro lyrical badman Coppa himself), it should go without saying that this one is an absolute staple for the record bag.

DRD015 comes from Italian Based Producer Akrom .  [ REPOST ]

Marco Reggianini, from Modena (Italy), discovers electronic dance music in the first half of the 2000s, immediately falling in love with Drum and Bass.

Attending DNB parties around Italy, grows in him the desire to express his personality through DJing and production, under the name Moon.

In the period 2006-2009 plays in many gigs around Italy, opening also some major international guests, and has his first track released, "Supercell", on Maztek's label Subculture Music.

In 2010 Moon becomes Akrom, too many producers and DJs around with the name of our earth's satellite, a different name was necessary to stand out.

The next years are spent improving his production skills, and finally in 2014 comes the first international recognition, when his track "Egotopia" ranks 4th in the BHK Samples/Neurofunk Grid contest, only behind big names such as Steelan, Killer Industries and Khronos.

2015 is a breakthrough year: the track "The Circus" is showcased on Xilent and Wreckage Machinery's The Neurosphere Show 018 and also uploaded on Neurofunk Grid Youtube Channel as new talent; later on in the second half of the year his new tracks begin to receive support by major dnb artists, including Mind Vortex, Optiv, Chris.SU, June Miller, Mob Tactics, just to name a few.

With several tracks already signed on big labels and forthcoming in the next months, 2016 is a year in which you'll surely hear Akrom a lot of times.

He perched upon the barren ledge, high above the valley beyond – the place where his people had resided for an aeon of peace, withdrawn from the overwhelming technologies of the outer rim, hiding in the obscurity of tranquility. The habitat below was a mere dot against his retina, his imagination doing the work in constructing an image of the bustle of the many lives within. He carried with him the sacred resin, and carried within himself the rite of his people, handed down between generations for as long as their history could remember. His sacrifice would ensure the peace of a generation more - his torment would be their strength. Civilizations that had come before tore themselves into pieces - times of peace held the unspoken lies of restrained savagery, the bitter truth of which came frequently, and bloodily as brothers and sisters set upon each other with unbridled hatred. That dark ferocity was within him now, carefully extracted from the minds of the populace by the ancient methods, he was the vessel of his peoples’ catharsis. He hesitated a moment more, looking out to the distant peaks that had touched the heart of his eye since childhood, the gravity of the setting sun drawing his soul to the gold crested radiance of their summits. With a fluid motion he poured the resin down his gullet, felt it snaking through is entire being, searing the illumination of universal history deep within him. The staggering truths towered beyond him, twisting up in harmony before splitting, the many faces of darkness emerging, the true face of nature erupting in blackness, the unimaginable horrors that inhabit plains untouchable, the fiends that feed off life and light and invisibly, that grow in suffering… they felt his sight, knew they were exposed, their eyes turning inward to his psyche – tearing him apart, pushing through his body and erupting from within. The resin did its work… as the creatures unspeakable feasted on him across dimensions, roots burst from his ruined body, branches spiraling up trapping all in their path. A silence settled on the outcrop, nature threaded its fingers of wind through new grass, whilst the sun set against horrific merging of life and the terrifying living monument of DIVERGENCE.

The mass of supplicants prostrated just beyond its twisted paws, their pathetic mewling pleasantly caressing the towering feline fiend’s ears as they expressed their divine agony. Drinking up the delicious earmilk of their pain, it reclined languidly in its glorious pedestal; a mass of flesh and sinews with the fine carved bones from the countless many condemned to this realm of eternal torment. Its three eyes rolled apathetically to fall upon one particular beggar, drained of almost all remaining life from her years pennance, spent at the foot of the infernal throne, worshipping the glory of pain in all its truth and crying for salvation. The utter futility of this endeavor suddenly dawned on the great cat, as the constancy of myriad calls made for escape fell upon his ears at once. Suddenly annoyed by this ever-present sound, he reached out, spearing the pathetic being before him with a claw and flinging her from into rock and into the depths of the molten river below. His eyes watched her form ignite and fade in the heat, her soul joining others to be swept into its current on a journey to be reborn as pitiful lesser devils elsewhere in the plane. How benevolent an act, the cat thought to itself, freeing the pitiful creature from her suffering for a brief moment and more even - giving her the opportunity of such an esteemed metamorphosis. Even though the pathetic fiend she would be reborn as would hold not even a candle to his own magnificence, it would still be a marked improvement against the limits of her prior flesh. Sated by his own thoughts, he leaned forward once, rotating his vast ears to better drink in the fresh desperate energy of the remaining supplicants. Its hideous mouth opened to a wide, sharp smile, revealing cruelly serrated fangs that shone unnaturally with a umbral hue. “A reward for my benevolence,” he thought as he plucked the nearest wretch from the rock with a single talon, his pupils sharpening with focussed malevolence as he tossed them into his fur-lined maw. Satisfied, his hunger temporarily sated, there was but one thing left to do. He would take a nap.

The ZOMBIE CATS return to the label that set the fire on their ferocious project back in 2014, placing them on a fierce trajectory of furiously kinetic releases that have brought them to the present, their most pointed assault on the eardrums yet with the WORLD’S END EP on EATBRAIN. With the title track tearing out of the mouth of hell with slower bpm but highly charged energy, further establishing the newly forming neurowave genre, the cats make a bold statement from the outset.
