At the heart of this series is a spotlight on emerging hip hop talent, and the power of collaboration. Past installments featured future stars such as Action Bronson, Curren$y, Vic Mensa, Skyzoo, and Freddie Gibbs as well as bonafides Bun B and Raekwon. For Our Latest Compilation, Closed Sessions has recruited fast risers such as Kemba, Open Mike, Khary, Dave B, Mother Nature and more. The whole project was produced by emerging producer BoatHouse, who served as the backbone of the album and provides a cohesive style that molds to each emcee without becoming disjointed or losing himself to his collaborators.
