Following gigs at Hoppetosse and an impressive podcast for Item, the French-German, Super Venus, caught our ear with her patient approach and under-the-radar selections.

Gaining a reputation for being able to play any time of night, there's a distinct personality to her records; a fusion of downtempo, breaks and techno rooted deeply in the raw sounds of the 90s.

With all four feet firmly grounded in the cultural heart of Romania's Bucharest, DJ and production duo Livio & Roby have emerged as the latest in a strong line of talents from the city's creative community. While much of the output from this inner circle of producers stays within it, maintaining a mystery that makes their unique sound all the more desirable, Livio & Roby's net has cast further than the city's limits; so much so they've forged alliances with Loco Dice's imperative Desolat imprint who released their debut album under their live moniker, Premiesku, which lead them onto a firm position on the international circuit.

With the pair making their Farringdon debut this coming Saturday, both as their DJ alliance, Livio & Roby, and their live project, Premiesku, they kindly recorded us a DJ mix to serve as evidence of their driving energy as a DJ duo. We also got the chance to chat on what they're about and how their home town scene has helped them develop.

Resident's of legendary Ukrainian institute Closer the pairs consistently excellent output has been prolific of late, with mixes for Faciendo and Banana Box showcasing their knack for unearthing weird and wonderful gems. In DIM306, you'll hear a recording of a Ukrainian public radio broadcast from their youth before the podcast beautifully unfurls over nearly two hours.

Taking over after Nicolas Lutz playing a magnificent sunrise set to a packed terrace is no easy task, but Adi made easy work of it on the Sunday morning of Bonanza this year. 

Kicking off at 7.30am, Adi never let the energy dip, working through house, electro and techno all underlaid with her trademark acidy sound palette. 

Listening back, this captures the sun-kissed energy of that morning perfectly.
