Very special material found in the legacy archive of a Ukrainian rock'n'roll star from the '90s, the frontman of the Braty Hadiukiny band. After a long pause in his musical career and a life-changing period abroad, he unexpectedly switched to electronic music production.
He passed away in 2009 without releasing these tracks, and only a very limited number of people ever heard them in his studio. His productions include eclectic house, progressive trance, and downtempo tracks we discovered thanks to his former wife, who kept Serhii’s artistic heritage throughout the years.

Closer Connections #108 - Robertovych

A DJ originally from Zaporizhzhia, whose musical career began on the Kyiv scene. Co-organizer of the Hybrid Moment party series, which explores the dark side of electronic music, and curator of the Inner Voyage show on 20ft, aimed at creating a platform for artists and DJs to experiment with various downtempo genres.

Inspired by post-punk, trip-hop, and ambient music, with a background as a nu-disco and synth-pop artist, Béllis deeply explores the melodies of dark disco and EBM, the dark side of indie dance, complemented by acid and electro motifs.

Her selection is a symbiosis of powerful synth parts, ethnic motifs, and elusive vocal elements. According to the DJ, this combination creates a sense of immersion, making the experience for her and the people on the dance floor more intimate and profound.Valera crafts eccentric dance experiences with a distinct tone. Leaning towards experimentation, his sound is anchored by a pervasive acidic touch, EBM-inspired basslines, and disco-Infused drum sections, all enveloped in a dramatic but yet confident ambience.

Лена активно гастролирует по России и за рубежом и является резидентом промогруппы @mdivision, в настоящее время ведущая авторской программы «Технический перерыв»  Она считается одной из самых знаковых техно-диджеев России и участвовала в многочисленных фестивалях и значимых событиях электронной музыки, таких как Восточный удар, DJ Parade и Казантип.
